2 1. LTM General Meeting of EJC Evangelism Council: All members of the EJC Evangelism council are invited to a special meeting in the Board Room Thursday, July 5:30 p.m. 2. July 9, Day of the Deaf Celebration: Hearing His voice. The First Special JAMU Day of the Deaf will be held at the Portmore SDA Church. All are invited. Special Delegates include all Special Needs Leaders, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons and sign Language Students. Special Speakers include G.C. Assoc. Sabbath School Director ( Deaf Pastor ) and JAMU President. 3. Change in Schedule of Zone by Zone LTM Meetings. The Zonal LTM and LEA Monday Evening meetings for Zones 1-4 will now convene every other month as here shown. Zone One Monday, July North Street SDA Church; Zone Two Monday, July Half Way Tree SDA Church; Zone Three Monday, July Jam. Conference HQ; Zone Four Monday, July Morant Bay SDA Church. 4. All Lay Volunteers including are especially invited to come and participate, in election of officers to serve for the next two years. Elders, LTM Leaders, PM Leaders and Officers, Sabbath School Superintendents and Officers, Bible Instructors etc. - all invited. 5. Please note that the Zonal LEA Executive Committees will be appointed at these meetings in July, NB. Going forward, the LEA executives will meet on every even number month while the General LTM Meetings will convene on the odd number month. 7. All EJC congregations should by now be divided into Small Righteousness of Christ ROC Small Groups for Study. For those interested in obtaining electronic copies of the studies: Click here.
3 Notices from the Family Life, Women & Children s Ministries Department 1. Consecration service - Andrews Memorial SDA, Sabbath July 9, 3:30 p.m. All child preachers and those who preached during the month of May are expected to be in attendance. You are asked to invite a non SDA friend. Please be seated by 4p.m. The convoy will be led by the Shortwood colour party. 2. Team members, help our children and youth missionaries to Suriname (July 27 - August 23) realize their dormitory and project fee. Call for more information to determine which child (ren) you will assist. Make a pledge to assist even 1 child. Even $1.00 will do. 2. Payment date for the October 13-16, Women's Ministries retreat has been EXTENDED. Come make your payment now. Cheques, debit/credit cards are accepted. The first 2 days ( Thursday & Friday) are for personal rejuvenation. We begin with Friday vesper service for everyone. The males, GEMS & Jewels will have separate sessions on Sabbath. See website for registration form or collect same from your pastor. B. Women will have their close door session on Sabbath, with main speaker Patrice Williams Gordon from the Bahamas Conference. Ladies, you cannot afford to miss this personalized growth seminar on how to better manage yourself and enjoy a more fulfilled life. Special incentive for any member who brings a non SDA friend or relative. 3. Children will have their own seminar presenters. Churches that have not sent in the names of the children for the retreat, please do so immediately. 4. ASI Missionaries to Suriname: Your final payment for airfare is now overdue. 5. Elders Association Meeting - St. Thomas Chapter - July 10, 10:00 a.m. Morant Bay SDA Church 2. Elders Association General meeting - Kingston & St. Andrew chapter - July 17, 9:30 a.m. Conference Boardroom 4. The Community Services Department will be having its Convention at Golden Acres in St. Andrew, from Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 10, Transportation will be provided for those who may need to travel from the Conference office to Golden Acres. You are asked to be at the office by 2:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2016, as the bus will leave at 2:30 pm.

JAMU/EJC Comprehensive Health Ministries Day will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 9:15 a.m. until sunset at the Half-Way Tree SDA Church. Each church is asked to send the Health Ministries Leader and their assistants and the Communications Leaders. 2. The EJC Healthy Lifestyle Retreat will be conducted at Golden Acres Resort from August 31 September 4, Cost: i)sda Members Early Registration with accommodation & Meals, $9,500 (by August 5, 2016) and late registration $12,500 (effective August 6, 2016). ii)sda Members - Early Registration with Meals (no accommodation), $8,300 (by August 5, 2016) and late registration, $11,300 (effective August 6, 2016). i)non-sda Members - Early Registration with accommodation & Meals, $10,500 (by August 5, 2016) and late registration $13,500 (effective August 6, 2016). ii)non-sda Members - Early Registration with Meals (no accommodation), $9,300 (by August 5, 2016) and late registration $12,300 (effective August 6, 2016). The Stony Hill Seventh-day Church Women Ministries will be hosting a prayer breakfast at the EJC Board room on Sunday July 10, 2016 beginning at 7:00 am - 12:00 p.m. Please see flyer below. 2. The Zone 4 Youth Federation (St. Thomas) will be hosting its annual Choir Fest on Sunday July 31 at the Morant Bay High School starting at 6:00pm. Tickets cost $600 presold and $700 at the gate. Children pay $300 at the gate. All proceeds will go towards the Youth Federation's scholarship fund. Help us to send a child back to school.
8 3. The Shortwood SDA church will be hosting an evangelistic series At the Time Appointed The end shall come starting July 24-August 21, Please see flyer below. 4. The Oak Glades SDA church will be having a revival in the month of July that will be held under the theme - "Lord Transform Me". This is a build up to their 20th homecoming anniversary which will be held on the weekend of August 5th - 7th. Please see flyer below. 5. The Kencot SDA church will be hosting its Homecoming 2016 Friday July 8 through to Sunday July 10, Also, on Sabbath, July 23, 2016 the Men s Ministry Department will host the annual Men s Day under the theme, Brotherly Love: My choice Your Choice.
