ANTS as the sub-consultant of EPRD, shall assist EC Delegation for ECD s ex-ante approval of the works and supply documents and tender dossiers of the projects: 1. They will review, provide comments and check the quality of the dossiers and participate in discussions to be held between the ECD (related Task Manager and Financial Management Section) and relevant stakeholders. Following these discussions the recommendations/comments of the experts will be communicated to the CFCU by the ECD. The experts will check the inception report, monthly progress report, detailed feasibility study, technical specifications and relevant parts of the tender dossiers as they are submitted by the TA to the ECD for evaluation and approval. 36 Yeni Gimat - Additional Shopping Center, Construction Market, Hotel and Office Buildings Complex Shopping Center Tenants Coordination Services Tenants Coordination of the Shopping Center consists of the following services; Handing over of the shops to the tenants following the signing of the contracts related with the rental areas in the shopping center, Review of the plans and designs prepared by the tenants for the shop decorations, shop windows, advertisement boards, display cabinets according to the Tenant Coordination Manual and other procedures established by ANTS, Determination of the designs which need to be revised and notifying the related tenants accordingly. Approval of the completed designs, determination of installation methods and informing the tenants, Approval and/or rejection of the special requirements asked by the tenants, supervision of the installations, notifying the tenants for changing unacceptable materials, Material approval and supervision and requesting the necessary tests for certain materials, Setting up the procedures for the transport and circulation of the materials and equipment of the tenants and realization of the necessary planning works. 37 Preparation of Feasibility Report for El Mek Nimir Bridge Project, Khartoum, Sudan The Bridge will connect Khartoum to Khartoum North between El Mek Nimir Street and El Tyar Alkarado Street. El Mek Nimir Bridge is foreseen as a combination of cast in-situ reinforced concrete viaducts along bridge approaches (7x26 m on both sides) and pre-stressed balanced cast in-situ reinforced concrete cantilever bridge at the central part (500 m). The total length of the bridge is 864 m. It will carry 2 carriage-ways having 2 lanes in each direction. Clearance above the maximum water level for the navigation corridor will be 6.5 m. The construction woorks performed within the scope of the project is summarized below; Construction of 500 m pre-stressed balanced cast in-situ reinforced concrete cantilever bridge having varying cross-section. Construction of 2x182 m cast in-situ reinforced concrete approach viaduct having the deck depth of 1.3 m. Construction of 2x2 abutments with cast in-situ bored piles (~ Ø 100 cm), pile caps, abutment and wing walls. Construction of 2x12 piers for approach viaducts with cast in-situ bored piles (~ Ø 100 cm), pile caps and pier columns. Construction of 2x2 intermediate piers to connect on shore and off-shore bridges with cast in-situ bored piles (~ Ø 120 cm), pile caps and pier columns. Construction of 2x4 piers for central bridge with cast in-situ bored piles (~ Ø 150 cm), pile caps and pier columns. The total length of the piles is around 11,760 m. Asphalt works. 40 In response to Marmara Earthquake, the Government of Turkey with assistance from European Investment Bank has identified an emergency reconstruction work programme, which includes reconstruction of housing units in Marmara Region, as well. Approximate number of housing units to be constructed in each location is 1000 housing units in Adapazarı (Camili), 500 housing units in Düzce (Kaynaşlı) and 1000 housing units in Gölcük (Yeniköy). In addition to the reconstruction of housing units and on-site infrastructure, minimum level of social facilities such as health post, business center and where necessary off-site infrastructure will be provided.
