1 TerraTec Home Cinema 1 Changes in Version 6 TerraTec Home Cinema Version 6 is a major release. We worked to improve stability, usability and visibility. Thus there are only few new features but many minor improvements to make watching TV more comfortable than ever. Major changes It is possible to upgrade from Classic and Basic version to Premium version by entering a serial number during setup. Timeshift is always active now 1. Improved navigation in timeshift and file playback. An advanced progress bar gives more information on the current time and file position. Improved timer programming Updated PDF manual Minor changes Changed channel switching with up/down arrows. Now you can preview the current/next information of the channels in your favourite list. Select the channel for viewing by hitting Return. Duration of manual recordings can be changed through the OSD now. Simply press the record key on the remote control or R on the keyboard again to show the end time selection OSD. New OSD dialog to show an overview of timer conflicts. 2 Important notes Update from previous versions Version 6 has many changes so it is recommended to uninstall all previous versions below 6 before installing a version 6 or above. The user settings are not affected. They can be kept. To enter a serial number it s required to run the setup again. New hardware notification TerraTec Home Cinema checks for new hardware and possibly advises you to run the setup again. It s highly recommended to do so. Otherwise some parts of the new hardware will not work as expected. 3 Known issues Split MPEG recordings are not concatenated automatically during playback 1... for digital TV. Old behaviour can be forced via the options on the Audio/Video. For analogue TV permanent timeshift is deactivated by default.
