Gooig ahh ah When you re as cute as I am, you can afford to be fussy. You have to understand toddlers to understand their needs
NAN Toddler milks can be used to complement the nutritional needs of toddlers CONTAINING: Bifidus B L, a beneficial probiotic, helping to support your toddler s digestive and immune systems. 14 ESSENTIAL VITAMINS AND MINERALS INCLUDING: Calcium, to help support the development of strong bones & teeth. Iron and zinc, key minerals that help support the functioning of your toddler s immune system. Iodine, a trace element that helps support early growth and normal brain development. PLUS: Sucrose free, to help support better eating habits. LIPID SMART, a special balance of good fats FOR TODDLERS FROM 1 YEAR OF AGE NAN PRO 3 TODDLER MILK Helps support your toddler s digestive and immune systems and assists with growth and development of active toddlers. NAN H.A. 3 TODDLER MILK NAN H.A. 3 is a partially hydrolysed (H.A.) toddler milk where the protein is broken down into smaller pieces, making it easy for your toddler to digest. FOR TODDLERS FROM 2 YEARS OF AGE NAN H.A. 4 TODDLER MILK NAN H.A. 4 is reduced in fat* and has a range of B vitamins for more efficient energy use. It is also easy to digest. NAN H.A. 4 Toddler milk contains more of what toddlers need and less of what they don t. * Compared to NAN H.A. 3
NAN Toddler milks. A partner in your toddler s nutrition COMPLEMENT THE NUTRITIONAL NEEDS OF TODDLERS WITH NAN TODDLER MILKS We understand that to support a toddler s growth and development, and to support their immune and digestive systems, their diet needs to consist of proper nutrition, including foods with essential minerals such as iron and iodine. It can be complicated, however, to establish healthy eating habits in fussy toddlers. That s why we have developed a range of fortified toddler milks which complement the nutritional needs of toddlers when energy and nutrient intakes may not be adequate. Not only can NAN Toddler milks help support growth and development, they provide a range of vitamins and minerals to suit the recommended dietary intake for toddlers. Plus they contain Bifidus B L an active probiotic to support their immune and digestive systems. Just two serves per day of NAN Pro or NAN H.A. Toddler milks provide your toddler with an average of at least 50% of the recommended dietary intake* of calcium, iron, zinc, iodine, and vitamins B1, B2, C, D and E. * Recommended dietary intake for children aged 1-3 years
IRON, ZINC AND IODINE IS YOUR TODDLER GETTING ENOUGH? Fe IRON Zn ZINC I IODINE IRON AND ZINC help to support the functioning of your toddler s immune system. Iron is also an essential dietary nutrient that is necessary to transport oxygen in the blood. This contributes to normal energy production in everyday life. IODINE is another essential nutrient for growth and normal brain development. Studies have shown iodine intakes are commonly lower than recommended in Australian infants and children. 1 NAN 3 Toddler milks support your toddler by providing at least 25% of the recommended dietary intake of iodine. Per serve, recommended dietary intake for children aged 1-3 years PROBIOTICS, such as Bifidus B L, found in NAN 3 Toddler milk powders, contribute to toddlers good gut bacteria and helps support their immune and digestive systems. 2,3
NUTRITION CHART FOR TODDLERS The Australian Dietary Guidelines for children and adolescents state that children should eat a wide variety of nutritious foods to help support normal growth and development. 4 ENCOURAGE CHILDREN TO: Eat plenty of vegetables - different types and colours, and legumes/beans Eat plenty of grain (cereal) foods, mostly wholegrain and/or high fibre varieties - breads, rice, pasta, noodles & oats Include fruits Include lean meat - fish, poultry and/or alternatives Choose water as a drink Include milks, yoghurts, cheese and/or alternatives. Reduced-fat milks are not suitable for young children under 2 years, because of their high energy needs, but reduced-fat varieties should be encouraged for older children. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO: Limit saturated fat and moderate total fat intake Limit intake of foods and drinks with added salt Limit intake of foods and drinks with added sugars These guidelines are not in order of importance. For more specific information on your toddler s nutritional needs, please consult your nutrition expert.
NAN TODDLER MILKS are not breast milk substitutes but growingup milks, specially suited to toddlers from 1 3 years of age. These are a formulated supplementary food for young children, to be consumed when energy and nutrient intakes may not be adequate. References: 1. State Government of Victoria Better Health Channel.
