1 Wilderness Lodge is the first floor living room tree. Note the feathers and berries near the top. There are owls, birds, bark and feather ornaments, bears, birdhouses, deer, elk-horns, and many other ornaments within the tree. Look around the rest of the room. See the angels, swags, and frosted bouquet on the fireplace mantel. Note the floral arrangements on other tables and the piano.

3 Go out through the large wooden door next to the piano and pause just past the staircase. This is the original entrance to the house. Note the swag on the railing filled with white frosted peonies, red roses and gold over-laid eucalyptus leaves. Bear left and go all the way down the hall to the photocopy machine room beside Brenton's office to see

4 Hearth & Home is a "slimline" tree, of which you'll see many throughout the building. We couldn't design half the trees we have if it weren't for these graceful evergreens that don't take up so much room at the base. Check out the burgundy and gold hydrangeas at the top of the tree. This is the first tree you'll see as you go through the tour that demonstrates how we use lights. Look into the interior of the tree. You'll see plain white lights wrapped around the inside, and the flickering flame lights on the outside. This is a less expensive way to use "theme" lights in your tree, yet still have the inside of the tree well lit. The decorations on this tree signify the crossover season of autumn into the holidays. Note the fall foliage of flowers that survive late, and join the reindeer and Santas! Turn around and go back up the hallway, looking at the swags on the doors. These swags were made from the branches of old Christmas trees!

5 Now peek into Medical Records office and see what you could do even with a ficus in the tropics! Open the door (with the little window in it) that takes you into the locker room to see

6 World of Sports is topped with tennis rackets! Check out the different lights that include baseball mitt's and golf bags. You'll see soccer balls, foot balls, baseballs, and bowling pins. Keep looking! Turn around and you will see the Carol Singers! Go out through the hallway doors and bear right to see..

7 Race Track is a NASCAR celebration! Note the colored lights throughout, and see the racing strips and caution tape wrapped around as a garland! Get up close to see all the cars and racing paraphernalia, including the flags at the top. Check out the posters and trophies on the tables. All the cars you see in and under the trees belong to Heidi Faulkner. She played with them as a child. The large trophy belongs to Sarah Boehler, our first floor unit manager. She and her husband own racing cars that compete on the track. The other trophies belong to Marylou Gomes when she raced many years ago. We are not making this up! Continue down the hall to the Nurses Station to see

8 Charming Cherubs features lovely little angels watching over the reindeer on this "coffee-table" size tree. Red sumac (which provides vitamin C and a winter supplement of the Wampanoag Native tribes in this area) embellishes the branches. Note the golden bow on top. Continue straight east down the hall to the end overlooking the lake near Social Services office to see and be seen at

9 Village Square is adrift in snow as cottages gleam with warm winter light. The frosted tree features snowmen, berries, mice, and skis. Keep looking, there's a lot of variety in these branches. Turn around, return to the nurses station and bear right, then turn left and go into the Receptionist's office at the entrance to see

10 Cardinals & Cones is a slim-line tree that would be right at home in a Scottish Castle! Pine cone garland is wrapped around the branches. Bright red cardinals and plaid ornaments complement ribbons throughout the tree. Check out the top! Cardinals keep watch over the winter landscape from a nest of berries. Step just outside the office and stop near the sign-in book to see

11 The Twelve Days of Christmas glows with berry lights! Red bows and bells are a perfect backdrop for the white glass ornaments describing various verses from this beloved Christmas Carol. Make sure you look at the wreath on the receptionist's door. The cardinal ribbon is beautiful! If you started at the 2nd Floor, this concludes our tour.
