1 LOW TEMPERATURE FREEZERS, -45 C Snijders Scientific manufactures beside Ultra Low Temperature freezers (-86 C) also Low Temperature freezers with a maximum range up to -45 C. These LT upright freezers guarantee an energy efficient and a simple way to preserve valuable material. Applicable for clinical chemical laboratories, bloodbanks and for industrial settings. General Construction Features - Stainless steel interior. - Insulation by foamed-in-place Polyurethane, thick: 80 mm. - Stainless steel inner-doors (no ice deposit). - Potential free contact for the connection to an alarmsystem. - Mounted on heavy duty swivel castors for mobility. - RS485 interface for monitoring crucial elements and registrated temperature data, which can be stored during 30 days. - Prepared for a CO 2 back-up system. Upright models - The upright model is fitted with height adjustable stainless steel shelves. - Stainless steel innerdoors, extra insulated by Forex platforms. - Full-length door grip. - Fitted with a key-lock for security. - Available volumes: 120, 240, 440, 550 en 660 liter. ST9002E microprocessor-controlled thermostat: - Soft-touchpads at the front allow easy operation of the microprocessor-controlled thermostat. - A 4-number password can be entered to avoid unwanted alterations of the setting by nonauthorized users. - The ST9002E alarms when the condenser-temperature is too high and when the condenser is filthy. - A 4-number digital temperature display, resolution to 0,5 C. - The ST9002E indicates power failure. During power failure the built-in battery back-up supplies power to the monitoring unit for some hours. The battery is always stand-by when the main power is on, because it is charged continuously by the thermostat. - The ST9002E is fitted with an internal RAM-memory of 16K (upto 35 days maximum) to store measured temperatures, setpoints etc. These measured data remain stored upto 35 days maximum. - An RS485 port permits computer interface (ST95USBE) to control, transfer or copy temperature data. 2 Alarms ST9002E - Audible and optical alarm, which warns when the battery-power is below 30%. - Alarm in case of power failure or large temperature fluctuations. - Over/under-temperature alarms provide extra protection for the stored products. - Temperature setting for back-up alarm (CO 2 ). - A delayed digital door-/lid-contact activates the acoustic alarm, as soon as the door is opened for more than 30 seconds.
