6 The right training for any task. Lenze Online Training The application get more and more complex while the training period still gets shorter: meeting this challenge Lenze provides a new training portal with didactically structured trainings, which are especially aimed to impart basic knowledge efficiently and time-saving. From now on it is even easier for Lenze customers and partners to get the knowhow for their products and solutions. The training programme is continuously extended to web-based trainings (online tutoring s followed by workshops). Available worldwide, the training platform is aimed to impart new competences and key qualifications as fast as possible and will be extended to self-directed trainings. * Find our online training offerings on our website via the tile link Lenze Online Training Portal. 7 The right training for any task. Lenze automation systems Let your machine decide. Tailor-made for your machine tasks. We offer you one-stop automation systems for both central (Controller-based) and decentralised motion control (Drive-based) from a single source. Here, we place great emphasis on the use of market standards, such as EtherCAT, CoDeSys V3, PLCopen, thereby simplifying integration into higher-level line topologies through standard interfaces. This ensures your independence and prevents you from relying on any single standard which makes sound financial sense for any investment. Our services, products and systems are freely scalable on the basis of a welldesigned modular system. For decentralised motion control: Drive-based automation With compact machines and machine modules, decentralised motion control allows the load on the machine control system to be dramatically reduced or even eliminated altogether. In particular the Servo Drives 9400 and the Inverter Drives 8400 are capable of taking over decentralised control responsibilities. And the I/O-System 1000 can be incorporated into the system to evaluate the control signals. An end-to-end network can also be established, for example using EtherCAT or CANopen. This includes the scalable visualisation concept using the Human Machine Interfaces p300/p500 and VisiWinNET software. The overall system can also be rounded off here with our range of motors and gearboxes. For central motion control: Controller-based automation The best way to implement powerful, central motion control for sophisticated machines is with our Controller-based automation system. The controller 3200 resp. C300 offers the ideal prerequisites for this. Motion control commands are forwarded to the Servo Inverters i700 via the standardised EtherCAT realtime bus. Centrally managed, these inverters can drive all the motors in your machine module. The I/O system 1000 combines impressive performance with extremely compact dimensions. For an open visualisation concept we offer the uniform end-to-end VisiWinNET visualisation software and the p300/p500 range of high-performance HMIs for operation and monitoring. The complete system is rounded off by our motors and gearboxes. Lenze Training Centre Version: 1.1 Training catalogue 2016 Page 7/61

8 The right training for any task. Lenze FAST Application Software The easy way to develop something special. The topic of software is becoming increasingly important in developing machines as mechanical engineers are focusing more attention on efficient processes for creating the applications they need. Lenze's standard software modules make it easy to develop modular mechanical control by simply adding the individual modules using the application template. This leaves more time for the machine's exciting performance factors. Highlights Up to 80% of software engineering requirements are covered by Lenze's FAST Significant reduction in development times for basic functions Time saved can be invested in further development of the machine's special feature(s) Pre-configured and tested technology modules which are easy to re-use Structured programming layout via the application template Error reduction thanks to tested software Get robots moving it s easy. Ready-made robotics modules make it extremely easy to integrate kinematics into the entire automation process. Technology modules for Pick & Place applications are available for this purpose, with models designed for different kinds of kinematics. A fully functional robotics core is already integrated to ensure the greatest possible degree of freedom. Highlights Spatial movements based on a powerful robotics core with six degrees of freedom Motion planning is based on PLCopen Part4, for all main and auxiliary axes Thanks to the encapsulated path planning system in the FAST technology module, no knowledge of robot programming is required. 9 The right training for any task. Lenze Controller-based Automation Training Our modular Lenze Controller-based Automation Training Programme supports you in areas ranging from logic programming, through motion applications, all the way up to complete technology modules, embedded in a standardised project and software environment, and provides you with the basis for setting up your own machine application. You will be introduced to controllers, I/O systems and servo inverter hardware for central motion control, as well as market standards such as IEC , PLCopen or EtherCAT, applied in the integrated development environment of PLC-Designer 3. The Lenze Controller-based Automation Training Programme is rounded off with a machine-oriented visualisation that can be created using the VisiWinNET Smart development tool by simply selecting, applying and configuring the various options without the need for programming knowledge. The training sessions are application-oriented and contain a large number of practical exercises.
