(714) Offers training and education programs in prenatal care, parenting, health and nutrition, tailored to the needs of each resident. Career case management, financial guidance and life skills coaching are also provided. Services are offered on a sliding scale, and no one is turned away due to lack of finances. (714) Provides emergency temporary shelter for kids aged Residents are provided with a variety of counseling services. Short term shelter care is available for up to 14 days. Abused and neglected mothers and their Families Forward Family Assistance Ministries - Gilchrist House First Steps at Beverly's House, a Rising Tide Community 8 Thomas Irvine, CA Calle Negocio San Clemente, CA family-assistance.org/ gilchrist-house PO Box 689 Orange, CA (949) This program combines temporary housing with intensive counseling, food and other supportive services to provide clients a safe, supportive home to enable them to regain self-sufficiency. (949) Residents are required to be clean and sober for 120 days prior to admission. The program begins with a 30 day trial and can be extended up to 12 months. Case management, life skills classes, and budget counseling are offered, among other services. Fees depend on ability to pay and length of stay. (714) Participants are emancipated foster youth. Program includes educational, career, and life skills training. Houses single women and mothers with children in apartments for up to 24 months. Program goals are to decrease homelessness and increase self-sufficiency. It offers emergency housing from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. There is no maximum length of stay. The armory is a cold weather shelter in operation from December 1 through April each year. The programs assist residents with such skills as budgeting, repairing credit, learning new life skills, and setting goals. Referrals are by phone only, no walk-ins. (714) Transitional housing communities managed by Orange County Rescue Mission. These programs provide long term apartment housing for homeless families, and offer independent living with support services over a 6-24 month period. Residents pay a monthly program fee based on a sliding scale. (714) A 192-bed transitional housing program for months. Services offered include personal development, counseling, job training, child care, transportation, food services, and medical services. Single parents, couples (married or unmarried) with Parents must be at least 18 years old. Children up to the age of 17 years are accepted. Families of 5 or more who have graduated from shelter programs (must be referred by shelter case managers) Homeless men, women, and children

Pregnant women age 18+ The Salvation Army Hospitality House Thomas House Temporary Shelter WISEPlace Women's Transitional Living Center (WTLC) 818 E 3rd St Santa Ana, CA PO Box 2737 Garden Grove, CA thomashouseshelter.org 1411 N Broadway Santa Ana, CA (714) A 57-bed, shared room emergency shelter with a maximum stay of 7 days every 30 days. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. Residents are required to be out of the facility 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must sign up for a bed at 2:30 p.m. First come, first served. (714) Transitional housing program provides shelter, food, and case management, as well as counseling, assistance in job search, tutoring for children, and housing placement and assistance. (714) A transitional living program for employed or employable women. Must be at least 90 days free of alcohol and drugs. Weekly fee, 30 bed facility with shared and single rooms.
