(949) Residents are required to be clean and sober for 120 days prior to admission. The program begins with a 30 day trial and can be extended up to 12 months. Case management, life skills classes, and budget counseling are offered, among other services. Fees depend on ability to pay and length of stay. (714) Participants are emancipated foster youth. Program includes educational, career, and life skills training. Houses single women and mothers with children in apartments for up to 24 months. Program goals are to decrease homelessness and increase self-sufficiency. Homeless single men age 21+, and veterans Mercy House - National Guard Armories Santa Ana and Fullerton (714) A mass shelter, capacity of 200 at each armory. Sleeping arrangements are on mats. It offers emergency housing from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. There is no maximum length of stay. The armory is a cold weather shelter in operation from December 1 through April each year. The programs assist residents with such skills as budgeting, repairing credit, learning new life skills, and setting goals. Referrals are by phone only, no walk-ins. These programs provide long term apartment housing for homeless families, and offer independent living with support services over a 6-24 month period. Residents pay a monthly program fee based on a sliding scale. (714) A 192-bed transitional housing program for months. Services offered include personal development, counseling, job training, child care, transportation, food services, and medical services. The Transitional Program offers low cost lodging with a refundable deposit, for 2-6 months after the birth of baby. The Single Parent Efficiency Program provides up to 24 months affordable lodging in a single unit apartment after baby is born. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. Residents are required to be out of the facility 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must sign up for a bed at 2:30 p.m. First come, first served. (714) Transitional housing program provides shelter, food, and case management, as well as counseling, assistance in job search, tutoring for children, and housing placement and assistance. (714) A transitional living program for employed or employable women. Must be at least 90 days free of alcohol and drugs. Weekly fee, 30 bed facility with shared and single rooms.
