MBBS 4 ½ Years Shall have passed two plus One years Pre University Year Examination conducted Rotating by Dept. of Pre Uni. Internship Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics Chemistry and Biology as optional sub. The candidates shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also must have secured 50% marks in PCB 02. M.D / M.S 3 years Pass in MBBS 03. D.M and Must possess recognized M.Ch degree of MD (or its courses equivalent recognized degree) in the subject specified Must possess M.Ch courses in any subject must possess recognized degree of MS 04. Super 3 years A pass in M.D / M.S Specialty

2 Faculty Dental 01. BDS 4 Years and Shall have passed two one year of years Pre University internship Examination conducted by Dept. of Pre Uni. Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics Chemistry and Biology as optional sub. The candidates shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also 50% marks in PCB 02. MDS 03 Years Must have a recognized degree of BDS awarded by an Indian University in respect of recognized Dental College.

3 Faculty Ayurveda 01. BAMS 51/2 Year Shall have passed two years Pre University Examination conducted by Dept. of Pre Uni. Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics Chemistry and Biology as optional sub. The candidates shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also 50% marks in PCB 02. MD 03 Years Pass in BAMS Ayurveda

4 Faculty Nursing 01. B.Sc (N) 04 Years Shall have passed two including years Pre University internship Examination conducted of 24 weeks by Dept. of Pre Uni. Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics Chemistry and Biology as optional sub. The candidates shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also 45% marks in PCBE 02. PC B.Sc (N) 02 years Have passed pre university examination in arts/science/commerce conducted by dept. of pre uni. Education, Karnataka 03. M.Sc (N) 02 Years Passed in B.Sc (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree or PC B.Sc nursing of RGUHS Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc Nursing (Basic) in a Hospital or in Nursing educational inst. Or Community Health Setting. For candidates with Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing Degree no such experience is needed after graduation.

5 Faculty Physiotherapy 01. BPT 41/2 Year Shall have passed two including years Pre University internship Examination conducted of six by Dept. of Pre Uni. months Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics Chemistry and Biology as optional sub. The candidates shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also and must have not obtained less than 45% marks in PCB 02. MPT 03 Years Must have passed BPT course

6 Faculty Pharmacy 01. B. Pharma 4 Years Shall have passed two years Pre University Examination conducted by Dept. of Pre Uni. Education, Karnataka State with not less than 50% marks in any combination comprising PCM or PCB (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of PCM or PCB) or PCMB PC and Comp. Sc and PC and Electronics Candidates who have passed D.Pharm course with not less than 60% aggregate approved by Pharmacy Council of India shall be eligible to this course and shall be admitted directly to II B.Pharm course. 02. M. Pharma 2 Years Must possess B.Pharm degree of RGUHS or B.Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University.

7 Faculty BHMS 01. BHMS 51/2 Year including a compulsory rotatory internship of one year duration after passing the IV BHMS examination 02. MD Homoeopathy A candidate must have passed the two year Pre University examination conducted by dept. of Pre- University Education, Karnataka State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with English as one of the language and PCB as optioanl subjects with not less than 50%of marks in the aggregate of the relevant Science subjects i.e PCB provided the candidate has passed PCB subjects idnividually to be eligible for admission to BHMS course Must have passed BHMS course,

All Allied Health Sc as mentioned above Duration of 31/2 years including six month internship A candidate seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science Degree Course in the Allied Health Sciences courses from 1 to 10 shall have studied English as one of the Principal subject during the tenure of the course and for those seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science Degree courses in the Allied Health Sciences courses from Sl 1 to 8 mentioned above expect for B.Sc Imaging Technology and B.Sc Radiotherapy Technology shall have passed :- 1. Two year Pre University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as

9 principal subjects of study. OR 2. Pre Degree course from a recognized University considered as equivalent by RGUHS (Two years after ten years of schooling) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study. OR 3. An equivalent examination recognized by RGUHS, B lore for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study OR 4. The vocational higher secondary education courses conducted by Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of GOK- Pre University Course.

Candidates with two years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health Sciences course mentioned in Sl 1 to 10 shall have passed 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principle subjects or candidates with 3 years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll in the respective Allied Health Sciences course mentioned in Sl 1 to 10 should have studied PBC as principal subjects during the tenure of the course. OR 6. Lateral entry to second year for allied health science courses for candidates who have passed diploma program from the Govt. Boards and recognized by RGUHS fulfilling

11 the conditions specified above under Sl 5 and these students are eligible to take admission on lateral entry system only in the same subject studied at diploma level from the academic year vide RGUHS Notificatio AUTH/AHS/317/ dtd 01/08/2008. OR 7. In case of admission to B.Sc Imaging Technology Or B.Sc Radiotherapy Technology the candidate should have passed pre University or equivalent examination with PCB and Mathematics as principal subjects of study. NOTE a. The candidate shall have passed individually in each of the principal subjects. b. Candidates who have completed diploma or vocational course through Correspondence

M.Sc MLT in Haematology & Blood Transfusion 01 MSc (MLT) 2 Years a) A pass in B.Sc MLT from institutions affiliated to RGUHS or from other Universities considered equivalent by RGUHS b) Candidates passing B.Sc MLT through correspondence course shall not be eligible
