The ACCORD DA can be used both solo as a tractor-mounted machine (i.e. without tillage implement) or in combination with a variety of tillage implements. Cultivation and drilling can then take place in one pass. This conversion is made possible by the ACCORD Coupling System. Constant Depth Adjus CBS toolbar / roller lin ACCORD now offers the option of constant depth control of the coulter bar via the packer roller linkage system (CBS system). With the CBS-system, the coulter bar is connected to the roller by a specially designed linkage which maintains the position of the toolbar relative to the packer roller. Independent from the working depth of the power harrow, the coulter bar is kept at the right height and angle ensuring precise seeding. The standard machine is equipped with a 1000 rpm V-belt drive. It can also be supplied with a hydraulic drive as an option if required. The seed hopper is readily and safely accessible via wide steps and a platform for access and inspection purposes (option). The DA is capable of applying seed rates of kg/ha with an extremely high level of accuracy due to the well-proven PNEUMATIC seeding system from ACCORD. The ACCORD coupling system allows the combination of the seed drill with almost every sort of tillage implements. 6

7 ACCORD DA-S Universal Cultivator Mounted Seed Drill for Power Harrows, Rotary Tillers or Tine Cultivators (3.0m - 4.5m) ACCORD DA-S, 3 m working width, 750 l hopper capacity, CX-disc coulters with small press wheels tment using kage system High Performance for Heavy-Duty Applications The DA-S is the heavy-duty version of the DA seed drill, which is available in working widths from 3.0 to 4.5 metres. This seed drill has been designed for applications demanding high performance, e.g. on large farms and estates. Combi-coulterbar-setting (CBS) The fan driveline is protected against overload by a centrifugal clutch, which is integrated in the fan bearing. The rigid mainframe supports the seed hopper which can be extended from the standard 750 litres to 1000 litres (optional). The toolbar inclination can be adjusted by +/- 10 to ensure perfect coulter angle settings. The toolbar parallelogram can be extended if necessary to allow fitment to most types of powered and non-powered cultivation implements. ACCORD DE-S: Conversion kit with Sowing Module for self build application. The DE-S can be fitted to many different types of tillage equipment. The DE-S can be supplied with or without toolbars and coulters and thus allows you to customise the machine to your personal requirements. Available in widths up to 5.0m. 7

8 ACCORD DA-X, 4m working width, 1500 l hopper capacity, CX-Plus disc coulters ACCORD DA-X High Capacity Universal Cultivator-Mounted Seed Drill (3.0 m m) The Contractors of Large Scale Farmers Choice The development of the ACCORD DA-X Cultivator Mounted Seed Drill has benefited from our 50 years of experience and our policy of continuously exchanging ideas with our worldwide partners and customers. The result is a cultivator-mounted seed drill for professional use, offering a host of useful features. The DA-X has a standard capacity of 1000 litres, thus offering high performance. The optional hopper extension enables the hopper volume to be increased to litres. The hopper cover can be fully opened to ensure an easy filling by means of big bags or auger. The track markers are fitted with a shear-bolt overload protection device as standard. Optional brackets are available to mount the track markers directly on the Kverneland power harrows. The DA-X can be fitted to a wide variety of soil preparation implements, even when fitted with large diameter rear rollers. The integral long parallelograms enable the coulter bar to be easily moved. Additional equipment is not required when changing implements. This makes the DA-X the universal choice. The S-type following harrow is equiped with a telescopic braked arm. The pressure of the S-type following harrow can be infinitely adjusted to suit all working conditions. Gas struts to assist folding are fitted to all harrows on machines > 4.0m. The optional mechanical half width shut off can be supplied as original equipment or for retrofitting. This feature is especially useful with symmetrical tramline systems. The DA-X can be fitted with all the familiar tramline systems from Accord. With the electronic metering device (ESA), the machine is GPS compatible. Precision farming can then be achieved by using additional components. The CX-Plus disc coulters are specially designed for use in mulch or rough seedbed conditions. In addition to the standard 2 rows of Suffolk coulters a third row of coulters cn be supplied as an option. The patented ACCORD CX disc coulters are also available and these can be fitted with optional press wheels. Easy access to the Coulter Pressure Adjustment and the Metering Device The coulter pressure is adjusted by means of a screw, or optional hydraulic cylinder, wich are located on the right hand side of the machine. The metering device and injector housing are readily accessible for quick and easy calibration. 8

The concept of the i-drill PRO is based on a fully integrated power harrow seed drill combination with a host of benefits for the user: large hopper capacity yet low lifting requirement, due to optimised centre of gravity, ease of calibration without necessity to climb in over the machine, high versatility due to quick attachment of the coulter bar enabling the power harrow to be used independently, exceptional view of the toolbar due to the unique hopper design and linkage to the power harrow. The hopper of the i-drill PRO is bolted directly to the headstock of the Kverneland NG range of power harrows, the hopper capacity is ltrs extendable to 1800 ltrs. The distribution head is mounted outside the hopper directly on the coulter bar for excellent access for filling or cleaning operations. The hinged hopper cover can be fully opened for easy filling with big bags or trailer mounted filling augers. Optional working lights mounted inside the hopper allow extended safe use of the drill during the hours of darkness. A platform with foldable ladder and railing ensures safe access to the hopper for filling and maintenance purposes. The metering device is positioned to the left hand side of the machine. This unique development from Accord allows safe and comfortable calibration of the seed drill without the need to climb over the machine. The calibration box is placed on the power harrow trough. A clear removable cover is situated above the metering device, which when removed allows access to the position adjustable hopper low level sensor. In addition cleaning of remaining seed becomes more manageable and comfortable. A calibration bag and a pair of scales are supplied as standard, giving the opportunity for calibration tests outside the farm yard. Both are stored in a tool box attached to the hopper. All electric junction boxes, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic valves are conveniently mounted to the right hand side of the hopper under a hinged access cover giving protection against dust and water. The positioning of all the valves and electrics allows time saving during maintenance and adjustment due to their central location. The coulter toolbar is attached directly to the roller frame of the power harrow. Depth adjustments of the power harrow therefore do not influence the seeding depth. This saves time for the operator. The coulter toolbar can be quickly disassembled from the power harrow due to the quick disconnect shut off devices for the hydraulics, electronics and connected hoses. The power harrow can then be quickly converted for use on solo soil preparation operations. This makes the i-drill PRO combination extremely versatile. 9

10 ACCORD DL, 4m working width, 750 litres hopper capacity, Suffolk coulters ACCORD DL Compact, Light Duty Tractor Mounted Seed Drill (3.0m - 4.5m) Ideal for Small and Medium Sized Farms The DL is the ideal machine for small and medium sized farms. The power requirement is from as little as 55 kw due to the DL`s close centre of gravity. The DL is equipped with a 750 litre hopper as standard wich can be extended to 1000 litres. The well proven PNEUMATIC seeding system can be used for various types of seeds at application rates from kg/ha. The standard DL is equipped with a 540 rpm Flat Multi V-belt with optional 1000 rpm available as an option. Electronic Control The DL also benefits from the full range of ACCORD tramline control systems. FGS, the electronic seed rate control ESC and the electronic metering device controller ESA are all available. Machines over 3.0m have toolbars 10 which can be readily folded by hand to meet for road transport. Flotation Tyres The wheels of the DL, whether fitted with standard or flotation tyres, run in the track with minimum resistance and constant slip. They can be easily adjusted to any track width from 1.65 to 2.10m. 11 ACCORD DT Large, Heavy Duty Tractor Mounted Seed Drill (6.0m - 9.0m) Rigid End-Tow Seed Drill: 6.0m - 9.0m The DT is equipped with a double hopper and two metering devices. Hopper capacities range from 1500 litres (6m version) to 2000 litres (8m & 9m versions). The metering units can be controlled remotely with the optional electric half width shut off. The 8m and 9m machines are fitted with a large bore seed delivery hose to ensure exact seed distribution. Easy and Narrow Transport The DT can be converted for road transport by just one person within minutes. On the smaller version -6.0mthe wheels simply have to be repositioned. The larger versions (8m and 9m) are converted from work to road transport in a one man operation in minutes. The DT (8m and 9m) is equipped with flotation tyres as standard. 12 ACCORD DF-1 front-hopper drill with integrated wheel packer in combination with the Kverneland NG fold H 4.5m hydraulic foldable ACCORD DF-1 Modular Seed Drill with Front Mounted Hopper (3.0m - 4.5m) Modular Built Seed Drill for up to 4.5m working widths The combination of front mounted seed/fertiliser hopper and rear mounted coulter bar with improved weight distribution. For row fertilising in combination with precision drills, special metering devices are available. Unrestricted Rear View The operators view is not restricted by the hopper or any other implement which is fitted to the rear of the tractor. The DF-1 front hopper can be filled easily from Big Bags, auger or tipping trailer, the filling height is 107.5cm. The hopper capacity is 1150l with an optional extension to 1700 l. Front Wheel Packers are also available. A hydraulic fan drive is available as an option for tractors not fitted with a front p.t.o. shaft. Power requirement is from 80 kw. 12

13 ACCORD DF-2 Modular Seed Drill with Front Hopper (5.0m & 6.0m) ACCORD DF-2 high performance drill in combination with Kverneland 6m Folding Power Harrow Soil Preparation and Seeding In One Pass The modular design of the component units ensures an extreme versatility. The DF-2 can be combined with many different types of cultivators up to 6m working width. The front hopper can also be used for soil preparation and seeding in one pass, ensuring an optimally balanced machine. Grain and fertiliser versions are available with up to 4m working width. The front hopper DF-2 can furthermore be used for row fertilising if combined with a precision seed drill. The hopper capacity is 1650l (2200l optional). Hydraulic fan drive and hydraulic lifting of the land wheel are also available as options. Rear-mounted implements can often exceed the maximum permissible axle load, this can have an adverse effect on the tractor steering. 14 ACCORD DV, 6m working width, 2000 l hopper capacity, use as semi-mounted machine ACCORD DV High Performance Tractor Mounted Seed Drill (6.0m & 8.0m) High Performance Seed Drill in Solo or Combination with Trailed Seedbed Cultivators The simple coupling process of the ACCORD DV to the rear of a seedbed cultivator allows the users complete flexibility. Versatile and variable! The high performance DV has a hopper capacity of 1650 l with an extension to 2000l available as an option. The flotation tyres directly support the hopper weight so that the depth control of the front press is not adversely affected. Suitable for Smaller Tractors The compact construction optimises the machines centre of gravity. This in turn enables the ACCORD DV to be used with tractors from 75 KW upwards. The toolbar is located under the hopper. Pivot points in the toolbar allow the wing sections to be folded up compactly across the rear of the machine. 15 ACCORD DG Trailed, Heavy Duty Modular Seed Drill (6.0m & 8.0m) ACCORD DG, 8m working width, 3500 l hopper capacity, CX-disc coulters c/w press wheel Ideal for Large Scale Farms and Estates The DG is the trailed version in the ACCORD series of modular seed drills. With its large seed hopper, two metering devices and 6 and 8m working width, the DG achieves an impressively high performance. The large hopper capacity of 3500 litres can be easily filled using Big Bags or a filling auger. Minimum Soil Compaction The machine weight is distributed across four flotation tyres. This ensures reduced ground compaction. An inspection platform and ladder along with hydraulic lifting of the toolbar and metering wheel are all standard features of the DG. The hydraulic folding toolbar enables conversion for road transport achieving a transport width of 3m. Dual circuit air brakes are fitted as standard with hydraulic brakes available as an option. With the electronic metering device ESA, the machine is GPS compatible (with the relevant GPS positioning equipment). 16 The Metering & Distribution System: For Seeding Accuracy Setting for fine seeds, with rotary brush Setting for normal seed Easy calibration The central metering device accurately measures any desired volume of seed from 2kg per hectare to 380kg per hectare. The central, totally enclosed cell wheel of the metering device accurately measures the required volume of seed and discharges it into the venturi cone where it is mixed with the air stream and then conveyed through the diffusor tube and the seed delivery hoses to the coulters. The residual quantities remaining in the hopper when sowing fine seed are negligible, for e.g. 500 g when sowing rape, the residue can be removed via the emptying flap. For the sowing of fine seeds, e.g. rape or grass, the metering device can be infinitely adjusted to fine seed/micrometering by means of a spindle, without any need for tools. 17 Versatile Electronics FGS Tramline Control Box FGS Electronic Tramline Control System The FGS tramline control system allows the operator to select from a variety of pre-programmed tramline rhythms. In operation the bout number and tramline valve activation are displayed by a series of LEDs located at the top of the control box. The system has an override function which allows the operator to correct his position within the rhythm. The FGS unit also features hopper low level and under voltage warning. ESC Monitor ESC Monitor To ensure accurate application of fertiliser and crop protection chemicals tramlines are the cheapest and easiest way to ensure that no double applications occure. The ESC control system offers the possibility to display and control machine outputs. The monitor can display the forward speed, fan speed, area cover and area/hour. Warning sensors monitor the hopper level, the metering shaft drive and the fan rpm. The unit can also control a variety of additional functions i.e. on the move seed rate adjustment and half width shut off (optional). The large LCD display can be set to display most of the functions with just the touch of a button. TELLUS Terminal TELLUS, the standardised ISOBUSenabled tractor terminal system from the Kverneland Group, offers a control unit for all ISO-compatible machines. Via the ISOBUS connection TELLUS automatically identifies the job control unit, which is located on the machine. All the machine basic data, monitoring and control functions are located within the on board job control unit. The Tellus terminal displays the data received from the job control unit and via a series of soft keys allows programming for complete set-up, monitoring and control of the machine. TELLUS has an RS 232 interface for GPS, which is also used as the service interface. LH Agro Terminal Electronic Metering Device (LH Agro 5000 Terminal) The electronic metering device ESA offers several features for achieving laboursaving, economical and ecological targets. The metering device of the machine is driven by an electric motor which in turn is monitored and controlled by the onboard computer ESA. Task data can be created, stored and transferred. The stored data can be called up and reused at anytime. An integrated diagnostic system controls all actuators and sensors. ESA, when coupled to an additional DGPS module is able to offer VRT (Variable Rate Technology). Used in conjunction with aerial photographs, soil/yield maps, etc. allows full flexibility when seeding to maximise the fields potential. Combi valves (line to share) Combi valves (return to tank) Standard and Combination Tramline Shut Off Valves With the standard ACCORD tramline valve the edge row effect can be utilised when placing tramlines. The seed from the blocked valve is distributed to the adjacent rows. ACCORD Combi Valves allow the seed from the closed track during tramlining to be returned to the seed hopper, even when the hopper is full (not DF type machine). It is possible to combine both types of valve to achieve an edge row effect and seed return when the width of the tramline is set to accommodate wide tyres. 17

Simply loosen the wing bolts, slide down the shutoff and change to micro metering, no opening of the distributor head and no exchanging of the cover. Retro-fitting is easily done by exchanging the distribution head. Heavy duty following harrow (10 mm) The heavy duty following harrow with 10 mm tines in lieu of the standard 8 mm tines can be fitted to all ACCORD seed drills as an option. 19
