4 EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE SCHEDULE ALTERATIONS: Should any changes to this schedule become necessary, alterations will be published in the Dog Press and on at the earliest opportunity. SHOW OPENS: The Show opens at 7.30am. Breed judging will commence at 9.00am each day. DISABLED DRIVERS: Please use the Red Car Park. To qualify, the current official blue parking card for people with disabilities must be displayed. The vehicle will be checked on arrival to ensure that it contains the person portrayed in the photograph to avoid abuse of the system. Have your pass ready to be checked by the attendant on the gate. Users of the Red Car Park may collect their catalogues from the Secretary s Office. RESPONSIBILITY: Exhibitors are reminded that the safety of their dogs and personal property is their sole responsibility. Removal orders will not be checked except in the case of an emergency. The parent or guardian of any child causing any damage whatsoever on the showground will be liable to prosecution. CARAVAN PARK: The parking of caravans, motorised caravans or adapted vehicles with living accommodation in the DOG CAR PARK overnight is strictly PROHIBITED. Caravans, camper vans and motor homes will be situated on the showground in the fenced area close to the yellow gate. Limited electric hook-ups on a first come first served basis at 5 per day. Arrivals for the week from Monday 6th June to 13th June may be pre-booked at a cost of 60 or 70 on arrival. For periods of less than a week the charge will be 15 per night on arrival. Caravan Park occupied by an event June 4th-5th. Absolutely no admittance before am June 6th. UNENTERED DOGS: Please use the BROWN car park where a manned tent is provided adjacent to the Show entrance from approximately 8.00am. A donation (suggested minimum 6 per dog) to the animal charity manning the tent must be paid when your dog is benched. Please provide your own cage or collar and benching chain. Dogs which are Kennel Club registered may also be entered Not For Competition. Details of each dog so entered must be recorded on the entry form and must be Kennel Club registered. Only dogs entered for exhibition or not for competition will be admitted to this show. DOGS IN VEHICLES: No dogs are to be left in vehicles. The car park will be patrolled and action taken if necessary. The committee intend to refuse entries for future shows from exhibitors found, to the satisfaction of the committee, to have left dogs in vehicles in a distressed condition. The Kennel Club will also be informed. GAZEBOS TENTS OR SIMILAR SHELTERS: May not be erected in the dog showing area. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING: This condition applies on all land owned by the Three Counties Agricultural Society. Permission is given to accredited Press photographers to take photographs for use in newspapers, magazines and internet sites for news purposes only. It is acceptable to video a general overview of the show and to video your own dogs. It is also acceptable to video other exhibitors and their dogs provided the prior consent of the owner(s) is obtained. It is prohibited to video where consent has not been given and where recording is unwelcome and unwanted. Should the use of a video camera become invasive or unwelcome the user must immediately abide by any request to stop filming. EXHIBITORS PASSES: For On-line entries only. You will receive your Exhibitors Passes at the appropriate time through your personal on-line account - not through the post. Approximately 2 weeks before the show you will be informed by that your Exhibitors Passes are in your account and by SMS text to your mobile phone if you wish. Take these steps: Login to your account and choose the option My Account History there you will see with your Show Entry record a line saying Download your Exhibitors Pass -click this link and your Exhibitors Pass will appear - print it and take it to the show. There may also be a Show Information Leaflet. Exhibitors making postal entries will receive their Exhibitors Passes by Post in the usual way. Entries with payment by credit/debit card can be faxed to CHEQUES AND BANK CHARGES Please note that in the event of a cheque being returned for any reason by the exhibitor s bank a surcharge of 20 will be levied against the exhibitor to cover administration and bank charges. A surcharge of 10 will be made for credit/debit card payments which are not in order for immediate payment, this also includes incorrect card details, therefore please check all details given carefully. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PUPPY IS ELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY Puppies born on or after 10th December 2015 are not eligible for exhibition at this show and cannot be entered Not For Competition. 9 CLASSES Will not be judged before noon EUKANUBA SPECIAL CHAMPION Judge: Mr M Armstrong Entrants in this class must be Champions or Show Champions at the time of entries closing. A Champion or Show Champion need not be entered in the breed classes. Prizes in this class are donated by Eukanuba HUB INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL VETERAN Judge: Mr M Armstrong Entrants in this class must be 7 years of age on the first day of the Show. A Veteran need not be entered in the breed classes. Daily winners are not required to return on the last day of the show. 10 RULES & REGULATIONS 1 Opening Times: The Show will open at 7.30am each day. 2 Arrival of Dogs: Dogs will be received up to 12 noon and after which time no dogs may be received except under exceptional and unforeseen circumstances and by special permission of the Show Management. 3 Judging Times: Judging will commence at 9.00am. Should the number of entries received require the committee to re-schedule the starting times of breeds the Society will publish the revised times in the Dog Press. 4 Removal of Dogs: Exhibits may be removed from the Show after their judging has been completed. Exhibits may not be removed any earlier unless by written order of the Veterinary Surgeon, Veterinary Practitioner or of the Show Management and then only in very exceptional and unforeseen circumstances which must be reported to the Kennel Club. The Show will close half an hour after all judging has been completed at which time all dogs must be removed. 5 Cooking Stoves: The use of cooking stoves in the proximity of tenting and benching areas is forbidden except as authorised by the Show Management. 6 Entry Fees: Details of entry fees are on page 3. All entry fees quoted in this schedule and on the entry form are inclusive of VAT, registration number Entry fees will not be refunded once an entry has been made. Entries may be made online at 7 Prize Money: See page 7 for details. 8 Refusal of Entries: The Committee reserve to themselves the power to refuse on reasonable grounds, or to exclude or remove any dog which in their opinion is suffering from any disease, savage disposition, vice or natural causes, or is not in a fit state for exhibition, and if such exclusion takes place either before or after the dog is judged the entrance fee will be forfeited. Once a dog has been removed from the Show for any of these reasons, it shall not be brought into the Show at any other time under any circumstances and the cause will be reported to the Kennel Club. No dogs that are suffering from any infectious or contagious disease or have been exposed to the risk of such disease during a period of twenty one days prior to the Show may be exhibited. Exhibitors infringing this regulation will be liable to be fined and/or be dealt with by the Kennel Club. 9 Puppies: Puppies under six calendar months of age on the first day of the Show are not eligible for exhibition. 10 Mating of Bitches: The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is forbidden. 11 Best Puppy in Show: From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information). (Definition; Shows judged on Group System - Refer to Regulation 27B.) Where a Best Puppy in Show competition is scheduled the Best Puppy in Show is a puppy which has competed and is unbeaten by any other puppy exhibited at the same show. A puppy is a dog of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. Where the Best of Breed, Best in Group or Best in Show is a puppy it should automatically be awarded Best Puppy in Breed, Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show respectively. Similarly, if the Reserve Best of Breed, Reserve Best of Group or Reserve Best in Show is a puppy which has only been beaten by an adult dog it should also automatically be Best Puppy in Breed, Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show respectively. Consequently, selection of Best Puppy in Breed, Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show must follow the selection of Best of Breed and Best in Show respectively. (a) Championship Shows Judged on the Group System (1) Best Puppy in Breed A Best Puppy must be declared in each breed from puppies entered in the breed classes. (2) Best Puppy in Group From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information) Best Puppy in Group and subsequent Puppy Group placings must be selected from:- (a) Those puppies declared Best Puppy in Breed provided that they are unbeaten by any other puppy. (b) The puppy declared Best Puppy from the Any Variety Not Separately Classified classes in each group or on each day provided it is unbeaten by any other puppy. (3) Best Puppy in Show From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information) Best Puppy in Show must be selected from the Best Puppy in Group winners provided they are unbeaten by any other puppy. (b) Withdrawal from Competition Puppies which become eligible for Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show may be withdrawn from all other competition, other than breed classes and Best Puppy in Breed, prior to the competition for Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show as appropriate, in order to remain unbeaten. A puppy beaten in competition for Best Puppy in Group or Best Puppy in Show may subsequently be exhibited in all competition for which it was 8

11 previously eligible. The dog declared Best Puppy in Show, however, must not compete in any subsequent competition. Puppies may be withdrawn from Any Variety Classes when judged before Breed Classes. (c) Proviso For the purpose of this Regulation, dogs beaten in competition for Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, Progeny, Brace and Team or a Special Award confined to one breed will not be considered to be a beaten dog. 12 Best in Show: From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information). The dog declared Best in Show is a dog which has competed and is unbeaten by any other dog exhibited at the same Show. Definition of a Category 3 Breed: A breed from time to time designated by the General Committee as requiring particular monitoring by reason of visible condition(s) which may cause health or welfare concerns. The list of designated Category 3 Breeds is kept under regular review. (a) Shows Judged on the Group System (Definition; Shows judged on the Group System includes classes for breeds within more than one Group, as defined in Kennel Club Regulation B(A); and requires a judge to declare a Best of each Group after which the exhibits so declared will compete for the award of Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show.) (1) Best of Breed Where a breed is separately classified a Best of Breed may be declared but only from those dogs which have received a first prize in a breed class at the show. Where separate classes are provided for each sex of a breed a Best of each Sex must be declared. NOTE: The Best of Breed/Best Any Variety Not Separately Classified award relevant to a Category 3 Breed will not be confirmed until the dog has passed an examination by the General and Group Championship Show Veterinary Surgeon. (2) Best of Group From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information). Best of Group and subsequent Group placings must be selected from:- (a) The Best of Breed winners in each group provided that they are unbeaten winning dogs. (b) The best unbeaten winning dog from the Any Variety Not Separately Classified classes in each group or on each day. NOTE: The dog declared Best of Breed/Best Any Variety Not Separately Classified from a breed designated by the Kennel Club as a Category 3 Breed is not eligible to compete in the Group competition unless it has passed an examination by the Show s Veterinary Surgeon. If the dog fails to pass the examination it is ineligible to compete in the relevant Group. (3) Best in Show From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information). Best in Show must be selected from the Best of Group winners provided they are unbeaten. Reserve Best in Show must be selected from the remaining Group winners following the selection of Best in Show. (b) Withdrawal from other Competition Dogs which become eligible for Best of Group and Best in Show may be withdrawn from all other competition other than breed classes and Best of Breed prior to the competition for Best of Group or Best in Show as appropriate in order to remain unbeaten. A dog beaten in competition for Best of Group or Best in Show may subsequently be exhibited in all competition for which it was previously eligible. The dogs declared Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show however, must not compete in any subsequent competition. Dogs may be withdrawn from Any Variety Classes when judged before Breed Classes. (c) Proviso For the purposes of this Regulation, dogs beaten in competition for Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, Progeny, Brace and Team or a Special Award confined to a single breed, will not be considered to be beaten dogs. 13 Admission to Group Judging: Exhibits will not be admitted to Group or Best in Show competition after a period of ten minutes has elapsed since the announcement that exhibits are required for judging, unless they have been unavoidably delayed by previous judging not being completed on time, and then only with the special permission of the Show Management. 14 Harsh Handling: Exhibitors must not pick up dogs by their tails and leads when lifting them. This is not acceptable. Exhibitors should note that such practice would constitute harsh handling and reports of such practice will be referred to the Committee under Kennel Club Show Regulation F Regulation F: All exhibitors must be familiar with Kennel Club Regulation F Annex B Regulations for the Preparation of Dogs for Exhibition. 16 Overseas Exhibitors: All dogs resident outside the UK must be issued with a Kennel Club Authority to Compete number before entry to the show/event can be made. All overseas entries without an Authority to Compete number will be returned to the exhibitor/competitor. 9

12 17 Dogs in Vehicles on Hot Days: Your dog is vulnerable and at risk during hot weather and the Kennel Club offers the following guidance to help guide you through the do s and don ts travelling to and whilst at Kennel Club licensed events. When travelling to a show please take a moment to consider whether the route to the show is on a busy holiday route, and leave earlier to avoid increased time in traffic jams. If your vehicle is not air-conditioned seriously consider whether travelling to the show is a good idea at all. The vehicle should be as fully ventilated as possible, and plenty of stops should be taken, with lots of water available to drink. Ensure your dog is not sitting in full sunlight. There should be plenty of free flowing air around the dog. When at the show, never leave your dog in the vehicle. Keep the dog in the shade take your own shade, for example a large umbrella and always have plenty of water available to drink so your dog stays well hydrated. Avoid your dog taking part in unnecessary exertion, or from standing in exposed sunlight for extended lengths of time. Remember, if you feel hot your dog is very likely to feel much hotter and dehydrated, and this could lead to dire results. Please look after your dog s welfare. WARNING: IF YOUR DOG IS FOUND TO BE AT RISK, FORCIBLE ENTRY TO YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE NECESSARY WITHOUT LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED. Anyone whose dog is entered at a Kennel Club licensed event should take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met, and should not put a dog s health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. Breach of Kennel Club Regulations in this respect may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under Kennel Club Limited Rules and Regulations. Exhibitors/Competitors are reminded that show societies have the right under Kennel Club Regulation to refuse any entry. 18 Not For Competition: Not For Competition entries will be accepted. Details of each dog so entered must be recorded on the entry form and must be Kennel Club registered. 19 Schedule Amendments: No modifications will be made to this Schedule except by permission of the General Committee of the Kennel Club, which will be followed by advertisement in the Canine Press wherever possible. 20 Judges: Should any of the Judges be prevented from fulfilling their engagements, the Committee reserve to themselves the right of appointing other Judges to fulfill their duties. Exhibitors are at liberty to withdraw from competition but no entry fees can be refunded. 21 Grooming: All exhibitors must be familiar with Kennel Club Regulation F Annex B Regulations for the Preparation of Dogs for Exhibition. Grooming areas will be provided for the convenience of exhibitors desiring to clean and prepare their dogs for exhibition and no exhibitor will be permitted to clean and prepare their dogs for exhibition anywhere in the Show except in these places. 22 Vet: A Veterinary Surgeon will be in attendance any fees incurred must be paid by the exhibitor at the time of consultation. 23 Medical: An honorary Medical Officer will be in attendance each day as well as the Red Cross / St. John Ambulance cover. 24 Catalogues: Full catalogues can be booked with entries at 6 each or purchased at the Show at 7 each. 25 Entries: All entries must be made on or before Friday 22nd April 2016 (Postmark). Entry fees will not be refunded once an entry has been made. There will be a charge of 20 levied against cheques which are not honoured. The Committee reserve to itself the right to refuse entries. 26 Caravans: All caravans must be fitted with or carry a suitable fire extinguisher. Caravan awnings will be allowed but windbreaks, gazebos etc will only be allowed at the discretion of the caravan warden. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst within the caravan site or on the showground. All fouling must be picked up and disposed of. Dogs must not be exercised on the main showground. Prepaid reservation fees will not be refunded. 27 Unentered Animals: No animal other than a dog duly entered at the Show will be allowed in the precincts of the Show during its continuance. 28 Benching: (1) Dogs should be present on their benches at all times except (a) when being judged, (b) when being prepared for exhibition and/or being exercised. (2) In certain circumstances dogs must be present on their benches at all times if required by the show management. (3) Dogs may be removed from their benches by order of the Veterinary Practitioner or Show Management. No decorations, cards or other notices may be displayed on the bench except the Official Prize Cards and exhibitor s names and addresses as per KC Regulations. The benching is provided by the Society in accordance with KC Limited Rules and Show Regulations and whilst the Society has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the benches provide reasonable security to dogs, owners of dogs using the benching will be solely responsible for any injury or damage suffered by their dog(s) as a result of a defect in the benching or manner of construction thereof. The Society excludes all liability under the Occupiers Liability Act 1957 with respect to any such damage or injury. Under no circumstances may partitions between dogs be moved, such action weakens the general structure of the benching and is contrary to KC Show Regulations F(1) 5c. 29 Exercise: Exercise in the rings is strictly prohibited. 30 Gangways: Gangways must be kept clear. (KC Rule F(1) 5e applies). Any obstructions will be removed by authorised officials. Non-compliance may result in disqualification. Grooming and storage areas will be provided. 31 Responsibility: Exhibitors are reminded that the safety of their dogs is their sole responsibility. Removal orders will not be checked except in the case of an emergency. The Committee will be most anxious for the care and safety of exhibitors and exhibits, however, it must be distinctly understood by exhibitors and spectators at the show that the Committee will not be responsible for the entire or partial loss or detention of, or damage to any dogs or any other property, whether arising from accident or any other cause whatsoever, or from any act of omission of themselves, their officers, servants, agents or others. Exhibitors and spectators will be held responsible for any 10

13 damage to property or equipment within the environs of the Showground caused by their children in their care. It is on this understanding that entries are accepted. 32 AbidebyRules:All rules and regulations, or definitions, or instructions in the nature of rules and regulations, printed for convenience in other parts of this schedule shall be deemed to form part of these rules and regulations. Every exhibitor making an entry or entries at or for this show shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by the Kennel Club and Society rules and regulations printed herein, and it is on this understanding only that entries are accepted. Should any question arise which is not provided for in these Regulations or by the Kennel Club rules, the decision of the committee shall be final, subject to appeal to the Kennel Club. 33 Photography and Video Rights: The Organisers would like to bring the regulation on photography and filming to the attention of exhibitors, trade stands, press and visitors. It is a condition of all those attending the event that no filming or other form of recording may be taken or made at the venue without express written permission of the organisers. The taking of photographs in the show venue for sale or reward is strictly prohibited except with the written permission of the Organisers. Press accredited photographers are provided with permission to take photographs ONLY for use in newspapers, magazines and internet sites this is for news purposes only. There is no objection to the general public taking photographs of general views of the show, provided that these are for private use. Specific dogs may be photographed only with the approval of the exhibitor. No photography or filming is permitted in breed judging rings whilst judging is actually taking place. However, judges may allow it to happen at the end of classes or after the Challenge Certificate is awarded. Filming and flash photography is allowed from outside the rings at all times unless the operation of the camera is actually affecting exhibits. However, if a powerful flash unit is used or it is clear that exhibits are being affected, a ring steward or the judge is empowered to stop the person concerned. Jackie Lane, Secretary, Championship Dog Show REGULATIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF DOGS FOR EXHIBITION F (B) 1 These Regulations must be observed when a dog is prepared for exhibition and/or exhibited at any Kennel Club Licensed event. Objections may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under these Show Regulations and/or for disciplinary action under Kennel Club Rule A42. (a) A dog found to have been exhibited in breach of these Regulations will automatically be disqualified from exhibition at the show and from any award gained thereat. (b) Unless the exhibitor provides a satisfactory explanation for the dog being exhibited in breach of these Regulations then he/she may be subject to further penalties of either a fine or as listed under Rule (a) No substance which alters the natural colour, texture or body of the coat may be present in the dog s coat for any purpose at any time during the Show. No substance which alters the natural colour of any external part of the dog may be present on the dog for any purpose at any time during the Show. (b) Any other substance (other than water) which may be used in the preparation of a dog for exhibition must not be allowed to remain in the coat or on any other part of the dog at the time of exhibition. 3 No act or operation which alters the natural conformation of a dog or any part thereof may be performed except: (a) Operations certified to the satisfaction of the General Committee. (b) The removal of dewclaws of any breed. (c) Operations to prevent breeding, provided that such operations are notified to the Kennel Club before neutered dogs are shown. Nor must anything be done calculated to in the opinion of the General Committee to deceive. 4 The General Committee without previous notice may order an examination of any dog or dogs at any Show. Any examination thus ordered will be made by a person having executive authority who shall have a written directive from the Kennel Club in their possession. Samples may be taken for further examination and analysis. 5 An individual has the right to lodge an objection to a dog only if he/she is the owner or handler of a dog competing in the same breed or class, an objection may, however, be lodged by an official of the Show or by anyone so deputed by the Kennel Club. It will be the responsibility of the individual who lodges the objection or the official (as appropriate) to substantiate the grounds for the objection. The Kennel Club will substantiate the grounds for an objection made on its behalf. 6 Any objection by an individual related to an infringement of these Regulations must be made in writing to the Show Secretary at his/her office before the close of the Show and the individual must produce evidence of identity at the time of lodging the complaint. DEFINITIONS OF CLASSES In the following Definitions, a Challenge Certificate includes any show award that counts towards the title of Champion under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club. Wins at Championship Shows in breed classes where Challenge Certificates are not on offer shall be counted as wins at Open Shows. In the case of a dog owned in partnership and entered in Members Classes or competing for Members Specials, each partner must at the time of entry be a member of the Society. In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and including the seventh day before the date of closing of Postal entries shall be counted when entering for any class i.e. Friday 15th April Wins in Variety Classes do not count for entry in Breed Classes, but when entering for Variety Classes, wins in both Breed and Variety Classes must be counted. A First Prize does not include a Special Prize of whatever value. 11

14 A dog is not eligible for entry in Variety Classes unless also entered and subsequently exhibited in a Breed Class where such a class is provided for which it is eligible, as provided in Kennel Club Definitions of Classes. Exemptions from this Regulation are: From 1st January 2015, and for a period of two years the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/ Stakes Class have been suspended. (1) A Puppy, unless a class for dogs under twelve months of age for which it is eligible is provided for the breed. (2) A dog in Any Variety Veteran Class. (3) A dog in Any Variety Champion Class. (4) A dog which is withdrawn from exhibition in breed classes as a result of the appointment of an emergency judge. (5) A dog in YKC Stakes Classes. (6) A dog in Good Citizen Scheme Classes. (7) Exhibits bred by the scheduled breed Judge. If an exhibitor reports before the judging of a class or classes that a dog has been entered which is ineligible, the exhibitor may choose one of the following options: Withdrawal The dog may be withdrawn from competition subject to the conditions of Regulations 9(j) and 20. Transfer (a) If a dog is ineligible for a class or classes as regards its breed, colour, sex, weight or height, the Show Secretary shall transfer it to the equivalent class or classes for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height or, in the event of there being no equivalent class, Minor Puppy and Puppy excepted to the Open class for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height. (b) For an exhibit entered incorrectly in a Minor Puppy Class, Puppy Class or Junior Class, which is over age but under 12 calendar months of age, 18 calendar months of age or 24 calendar months of age respectively, the Show Secretary shall transfer the exhibit to the Puppy Class, Junior Class or Yearling Class respectively for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height and in the event of there being no Puppy, Junior or Yearling Class, to the Open Class for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height. (c) For any reason other than the above, the Show Secretary shall transfer it to the Open Class for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height. If an exhibit arrives late and misses a class, even if it is the only class in which the dog is entered, the dog may not be transferred to any other class. MINOR PUPPY For dogs of six and not exceeding nine calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. PUPPY For dogs of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. JUNIOR For dogs of six and not exceeding eighteen calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. YEARLING For dogs of twelve and not exceeding twenty four calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. UNDERGRADUATE For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or three or more First Prizes at Championship Shows (Minor Puppy, Special Minor Puppy, Puppy & Special Puppy classes excepted), whether restricted or not, where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed. GRADUATE For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or four or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Graduate, Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open Classes, whether restricted or not, where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed. POST GRADUATE For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or five or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open Classes, whether restricted or not, where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed. MID LIMIT For dogs which have not become Show Champions under Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club or won five or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Mid Limit, Limit or Open Classes, confined to the breed, whether restricted or not, at shows where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed. LIMIT For dogs which have not become Show Champions under Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club or won seven or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Limit or Open Classes, confined to the breed, whether restricted or not, at shows where Challenge Certificates were offered for the breed. OPEN For all dogs of the breeds for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the Show. VETERAN For dogs of not less than seven years of age on the first day of the Show. CHAMPION For dogs which have been confirmed a Champion, Show Champion or Field Trial Champion. Champion classes may not be scheduled for individual breeds or variety of breeds. ANY VARIETY NOT SEPARATELY CLASSIFIED For breeds of dog for which no separate breed classes are scheduled. IMPORTED REGISTER For breeds confined to the Imported Breeds Register and only when an Interim Breed Standard has been published by the Kennel Club. Such breeds may be exhibited in this class only, and are ineligible for any other competition whatsoever. SPECIAL BEGINNERS Neither dog, owner or handler to have won a Challenge Certificate. NOT FOR COMPETITION Societies may at their discretion, accept Not For Competition entries. Societies may accept such entries from Kennel Club registered breeds of dog not included within the title of the Society and at Shows held over more than one day, such entries may be accepted on any day from any breed. GOOD CITIZEN DOG SCHEME For dogs which have obtained their GCDS Bronze Award or above. 12

15 Puppies born on or after 10th December 2015 are not eligible for exhibition at this show. PLEASE NOTE: Entry fees will not be refunded once an entry has been made.
