3 Abstract of ALPI Risk Assessment Process and Analysis Introduction ALPI Group has realized the risk analysis in order to prevent security risk in the country involved in the process of shipping to USA and the international supply chain(s). The ALPI Risk Analysis was made in accordance with C-TPAT minimum security criteria, and provides 6 Step Risk Assessment Process. This reference guide contains some of the basic tools, resources, and examples C- TPAT partners should consider using when conducting a risk assessment on their international supply chain(s). The information contained herein is intended to serve as a guide, and is not all inclusive of what should be included in an international supply chain security risk assessment. 1. Identification of vulnerabilities -Individuazione delle vulnerabilità The ALPI Risk Assessment Process includes: 1. Mapping Cargo Flow and Identifying the ALPI Business Partners (directly or indirectly contracted) in Italy, Portugal, Uk, Poland, and Germany b. Italy, Prato, c. Portugal, ALPI PORTUGAL Oporto, d. UK, ALPI UK Basildon, e. Poland, ALPI POLONIA Strykow, f. Germany, TRANS BAVARIA Dusseldorf. 2. Conducting a Threat and Risk Analysis by Risk Assessment focusing on the following 6 Step: g. Trafficking (terrorism, contraband smuggling, human smuggling, h. Organized Crime, i. Compliance and enforcement of C-TPAT Security Criteria j. Compliance and enforcement of AEO-F Security Criteria k. Countermeasures and Corrective Actions l. Country Economic vulnerability m. Documentation of analysis and monitoring system. P a g e 3

4 3. Conducting a Vulnerability Assessment in accordance with C-TPAT/AEO- G Minimum Security Criteria and rate vulnerability High, Medium, Low 4. Preparing an Action Plan 5. Documenting How Risk Assessments are conducted ALPI Corporate Security, in order to made an effective Risk Analysis and identify their High Risk on supply chains, has conducting a threat assessment directly on side - as point of origin/region and where the cargo is routed/transhipped -, and then conduct a comprehensive security vulnerability assessment. Risk Assessment Process and Security Risk Rating ALPI Group established a internal Security Risk Rating System based on Company business model. ALPI Group respect the indication of C-TPAT Risk Ratings recommended during the examination of security threats and vulnerabilities within the Company international supply chain. a. Threat Assessment Is conducting following many Open Sources which provide information on threats within the international supply chain. After the research, the ALPI Corporate Security has assigned a threat risk rating based on the following. Low Risk - No recent incidents/intelligence/information Medium Risk No recent incidents/some intelligence/information on possible activity High Risk Recent incidents and intelligence/information As recommended from C-TPAT during the Training Seminar March 2010, the score of 3 in any of the following areas in considered from ALPI Group the supply chain High Risk b. Terrorism c. Contraband Smuggling d. Human Smuggling e. Organized Crime b. Vulnerability Assessment The method used from ALPI Group to conduct a vulnerability assessment was to send security surveys to all ALPI Business Partners who are not eligible or do not participate in the C-TPAT/AEO program. As recommended from US Customs in the C-TPAT Program, the security surveys was based on the process performed by the ALPI business partners in the identified international supply chain (e.g. Procurement, Production, Packing, Storage, Loading/Unloading, Transportation, and Document Preparation).
