2 OVERVIEW Location Located 20 minutes north form Muscat, the capital of Oman, at Al Ghubra, The Chedi Muscat is an exclusive beach resort that offers world-class facilities for discerning traveler. The Chedi Muscat is a mere 15 minutes drive from Muscat International Airport. Designed in the style of traditional Omani architecture, The Chedi Muscat features a 370-meter private beach and two swimming pools one is dedicated for the exclusive use of adults. The Chedi Muscat also provides guests of the Chedi Club Suites and Chedi Deluxe Club rooms with the use of an exclusive retreat called The Library. The Library is a private lounge offering complimentary Continental Breakfast, morning/afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés and free internet access. Serai Room The 60 Serai rooms are 33 sqm in size and located in the 3-storey Serai wing. View of the rooms look to either the Gulf of Oman or the majestic Hajjar mountains. Serai Rooms accommodate up to two adults and are comprised of a queen-size bed and built-in sofa bench. The open plan bathroom features an open wardrobe, a washbasin, separate toilet and walk-in shower with a rain shower head. Rooms look either across the ponds or to the Hajjar mountains. All rooms are equipped with a king-size bed and a seating area and can accommodate up to two adults. The bathroom features two open wardrobes, two hand washbasins, a separate toilet and bidet as well as shower with a rain-shower head. Each Deluxe room is equipped with a Bose Wave music system featuring radio and CD player. These guests also enjoy free laundry service (except drycleaning), free mini-bar, daily newspaper and two-way airport transfers. 3 Chedi Club Suite The 36 Chedi Club Suites mostly surround a water garden with palm trees and water features, and comprise either a two storey or single story villa. The single story suites break away from the flat roof building concept with its dome-shaped ceiling. Each suite consists of a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a separate living room and an outdoor balcony or terrace. The stylish windows of the sitting room allow guests to enjoy the view of the tranquil ponds or the garden grounds. Two Apple Mini ipod s with Bose Sound Dock digital music system, preloaded with 1,500 pieces of music, are provided in each suite. Each Chedi Club Suite accommodates up to two adults or two adults and a maximum of two children below the age of 12 years. The Children can be accommodated on the existing sofa benches in the sitting room of the suite. The bathroom features a terrazzo sunk-in-bath tub, an impressive separate walk-in shower featuring a rain forest shower head and hand held shower attachment. A separate toilet and bidet, two hand wash basins and two closets with drawer space complete the open plan bathroom. Suites are inclusive of two-way airport transfers, free mini-bar, laundry service (except dry-cleaning), daily newspaper and access to The Library. At the Library, suite guests can enjoy Continental Breakfast, morning/afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés and free internet access. 5 Alcohol Serving Alcoholic drinks are available in the comfort of each room through mini-bar and room service at anytime. In accordance with the local rules and regulations, serving of alcohol is permitted in any of our restaurants and pool cabanas from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 01:00. During the holy month of Ramadan, alcohol is permitted to be served inside The Restaurant from 19:00 hrs to in-house guests only.
