Efficient One-pass Duplex Scanning The scanners are able to scan double sided documents at high speed in a single pass, giving them a double-sided scanning speed of up to 80 images per minute (for the Epson GT-S85). Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection The Epson GT-S85 provides added assurance that every page in a job is scanned with its Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection. This feature automatically uses advanced ultrasound waves to detect if more than a single sheet has been fed in. If a more than a sheet is detected, the scanner automatically alerts the user to have the issue resolved, and will automatically resume the job after the double feeding has been dealt with.
