According to Article 16 of the Regulations for Course Registration by Students at I-Shou University, when students apply for inter-division/college course registration, they shall pay the difference in the tuition, other required fees or credit fees according to relevant regulations and rules if the fees standards are different. 2. The tuition and other required fees for students enrolled in evening programs are calculated based on the number of credits or the number of class hours. 3. In addition to the tuition and other required fees, students should also pay the following fees: a. Student Group Insurance: NT$165 per semester (the exact amount is determined according to the bid award results.) b. Language Lab Fee: NT$530 (for sophomores of daytime and evening programs, and seniors of two-year undergraduate programs) c. Computer Lab Fee: NT$830 (for freshmen and sophomores of daytime and evening programs, juniors of two-year undergraduate programs, and new transfer students) d. Accommodation Fee: Dormitory 1: NT$10,900 per person/semester Dormitory 2: NT$4,290 per person/month (11 months of accommodation + a deposit of NT$4,290) Dormitory 3: NT$3,800 per person/month (11 months of accommodation + a deposit of NT$3,800) Medical Campus Dormitory: NT$17,500 per person/semester for a triple room

4 International College Dormitory: NT$42,000 per person for the first semester and NT$35,000 per person for the second semester (plus a deposit of NT$7,000) 4. Student Loan Package: (1) tuition and other required fees; (2) Student Group Insurance premiums; (3) accommodation fees; (4) books and supplies; (5) expenses on overseas studies; (6) living allowances for students from low-income families. The loan limit for qualified students is NT$8,000 per person/month with a maximum of NT$40,000 per person/semester (five months constitute one semester). The living allowances for students from medium-and low-income families are a maximum of NT$20,000 per person/semester. 5. For undergraduate students enrolled at the Division of Continuing Education as well as juniors and seniors of daytime undergraduate programs, the fees for core and liberal arts courses are calculated based on the number of credits or the number of class hours. The fee per credit hour is NT$1,533. For undergraduate freshmen admitted in Academic Year 2014 and thereafter, the fee per credit hour of core and liberal arts courses is NT$2,070. For undergraduate freshmen enrolled at the Division of Continuing Education who are qualified to have all the courses he/she takes offered by daytime programs, the Regulations for Inter-Division Course Registration between Daytime Undergraduate Programs and Division of Continuing Education shall apply. 6. The standards of fees per credit for undergraduate programs introduced in Academic Year 2014 are applicable to freshmen admitted in Academic Year 2014 and thereafter and not retroactive. 7. As per the Ministry of Education s Letter No. Tai-88-Ji-Er-Zi , when students who have extended the graduation date take nine credits or less, only credit fees will be collected; if such students take ten credits or more, the full tuition and other required fees will be collected. 8. As per the Ministry of Education s Letter No. Tai-87-Ji-Er-Zi , regarding courses on military education, physical education, practicum or experiments, the fees per credit hour are calculated and collected on an hourly basis only when course instructors are present in the course of instruction and receive hourly pay based on individual teaching hours. 9. As per the Ministry of Education s Letter No. Tai-Kao-Si-Zi dated October 25, 2010, the basic tuition and other required fees are NT$72,500 for freshmen admitted to the International College in Academic Year 2011 and thereafter. 10. As per the Ministry of Education s Letter No. Tai-88-Ji-Er-Zi , when students who take internships for the entire semester, only full tuition and 80% of other required fees are collected for such a semester. 11. If students take internships outside the University, or study abroad as exchange students (including in mainland China), the tuition and other required fees will be collected according to the standards below (as adopted on November 23, 2011 at the sixth meeting of the University Administration Council in the first semester of the academic year 2011). Appendix: Standard of Tuition and for Students Taking Internships outside the University or Studying abroad as Exchange Students (including in mainland China) 1. Full tuition and other required fees are collected upon registration for exchange students who only pay these fees to their original school. 2. Internship a. Full tuition and other required fees are collected upon registration from students taking internships outside the University and taking courses at the University as well. b. Full tuition and 80% of other required fees are collected upon registration from students taking internships outside the University but not taking any course at the University. c. Two-thirds of full tuition and other required fees are collected upon registration from students taking internships abroad and not taking any course at the University. 3. Overseas Credit Programs: a. One-third of full tuition and other required fees are collected upon registration from students receiving a scholarship of up to NT$50,000 for one semester (awarded by both the University and other non-isu organizations). b. R% of full tuition and other required fees are collected upon registration from students receiving a scholarship of NT$50,000~200,000 for one semester (awarded by both the

5 University and other non-isu organizations). R=1/3+2/3*(X-NT$50,000)/NT$150,000, and X indicates the total scholarship amount awarded to one student. c. Full tuition and other required fees are collected upon registration from students receiving a scholarship of NT$200,000 or more for one semester (awarded by both the University and other non-isu organizations).
