No surface or putty preparation is required. Simply scoop out and press firmly over the hole even if covered with oil. The Spill Station range of fluid handling equipment ensure that liquids can he safely collected and deposited into the correct container. Whether removing fluids from vehicles, trays or spill pallets and transferring them to drums or tanks, there is the product that will make the job easier, safer & faster. Coolant Recovery Tray Oil Recovery Tray With a capacity of 150L, this unit is able to handle coolant drops from most vehicles and heavy machinery with ease. The 12volt pump (pictured top right) removes 60L/min of liquid from the tray and transfers it directly to the drum or tank of your choice. TSSTRT1 Micro Oil Skimmer Reduce your fluid disposal costs with the Micro Oil Skimmer. This self-adjusting, floating head weir skimmer removes oils and other floating matter off water surfaces. It weighs only 4kg, can fit in a 205L (44 gal) drum but can achieve flow rates of 100L to 6000L per hour. The Micro Oil Skimmer can operate with a wide range of pumps but can also be set up to work on gravity alone, even in shallow water. 13 Stormwater Protection & Oil/Fuel Traps Stormwater Pollution Interceptor Disposable Oil/Fuel Trap The Australian made Stormwater Pollution Interceptor (SPI) is designed to remove gross pollutants and oil/fuel runoff as it enters the stormwater drain. The funnel (A) sits under the drain grate and directs the flow through basket (C) to remove gross pollutants. Baskets are available in a variety of gauges to suit different applications. The hydrocarbon filter (B) is available separately and will remove over 99.8 percent of oils & fuels that pass through it and blocks when saturated to serve as a catchment area if spill response is delayed. Standard sizes suit drains from 40x40cm to 1mx1m. Custom sizes also available. To install, simply cut the funnel to suit the drain and bolt telescopic supports (D) to the inside of the drain pit. The Oil/Fuel Trap is able to process up to 200L of oily water per minute and removes over 99.8% of oils & fuels. It is able to absorb up to 30kg of hydrocarbons. Simply connect to the discharge of your pump via the 50mm camlock fitting and the oily water is dispersed through the filter medium.
