4 Client Nuffield Health RBS Location Nationwide Portfolio Services provided Loan security valuation for RBS of 31 of Nuffield Health s independent acute surgical hospitals as trading entities, across England, Scotland and Wales. The portfolio included 1342 inpatient beds, 123 operating theatres, plus current or proposed redevelopment of facilities in Cambridge and Manchester. Nuffield is the 4th largest private acute hospital provider. 4

12 Client Name The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Location Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle Upon Tyne Services Provided GVA are instructed to mitigate business rates for the Trust during the 7 year 2010 Rating Revaluation period. Our discussions with the Chief Executive s Office of the Valuation Office Agency have led to a reduction in the valuation basis for all Hospitals throughout the UK. Our proactive approach has realised a rates saving for The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust s in excess of 1.6 million and we continue to offer new initiatives for mitigation throughout the term of our instruction. 12
