2 DASH - companies, directors and shareholdings DASH is the most comprehensive database of companies, directors and shareholders available. It is the combination of verified information from D&B and Bureau van Dijk's (BvD) value adding software. Using DASH it is quick and easy to identify the links between companies and individuals. DASH is made up of three separate modules; companies, directors and shareholders. The modules are available separately or with dynamic links if you subscribe to more than one. The information is collected from Companies House and continuously verified by D&B to make sure it is as accurate as possible. Reports are included for:* 2.6 million UK companies, 1.3 million of which are primary records 4.4 million directors, 3 million of which are primary records 2 million shareholders Using DASH you can research the links between companies and individuals in great detail. For example you can: identify directors who are also shareholders list all an individual's directorships with a financial summary for each company use any combination of search criteria to identify groups of companies and individuals such as directors of privately owned hi-tech companies. With software that helps you find such specific results and detailed, accurate information you will find DASH invaluable for research, M&A, credit, planning or marketing. *Primary companies are defined as companies that are actively trading or have been actively trading within the last 12 months. The directors of these companies are primary directors. Secondary companies are additional companies where primary directors have directorships. Secondary directors are the additional directors of secondary companies. The secondary reports are not as detailed as primary reports.

3 DASHcompanies, directors and shareholdings The reports and the information they contain Primary Companies Company name, registered and DUNS numbers, trading address, phone and fax numbers, legal form, year the business started, company status, nominal and issued share capital, primary and secondary SIC codes, trade description, sales/turnover, number of employees, business growth indicator, out of business indicator (favourable/unfavourable), numbers and list of current directors with titles, dates of birth, total and average remuneration, immediate and ultimate parents, the largest individual or corporate/joint shareholders (accounting for 95% of issued capital) type of shares held and percentage of voting shares held. Primary Directors Name, identifier, home address, date of birth, gender, nationality, qualifications and honours, occupation, current and previous directorships detailing: companyname and DUNS number, executive position, function description, appointment date, resignation date and disqualification period. Shareholders Name, address (home address, gender and honour for individual shareholders) companies in which shares are held with the following details: company name, DUNS number, annual return date, type of shares, number of shares, total nominal value and percentage of voting shares held. Working with the information DASH is fast, flexible and easy to use. You can search by name, or any combination of over 100 criteria for really detailed search results. If you have chosen to access more than one module you can work with the information simultaneously to identify the links between companies, directors and shareholders. The results of your research can be sorted, displayed, printed and downloaded in standard or customised reports.
