9 Terms of Sealed Bid Sale BID FORM Bid Submission Deadline: Friday March 16th, 5 PM Procedure: The property will be offered in 1 tract. All sealed bids must be submitted by U.S. Mail or in person to the office of Gorsuch-Hensley Real Estate & Auction, Inc. at 1050 N. Main St., Canton, IL Only those bids received by 5 PM on 3/16/12 will be considered a postmark is not sufficient. Minimum Per Acre Bid: The Seller requires a minimum per acre bid of $5,000 to be considered valid. Down Payment: A 10% down payment check, made payable to Gorsuch-Hensley Real Estate & Auction Escrow Account, must be submitted with the Sealed Bid in order for the bid to be valid. The down payment can be paid by personal check, corporate check, or cashiers check. Upon acceptance, the earnest money check of the successful bidder will be deposited. Closing: Closing shall take place on or before April 13, The balance of the purchase price is payable at this time. Acceptance of Bid Prices: The Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. Owner acceptance/rejection shall take place by 5 PM on Monday March 19, Possession: Full possession of the property will be given at the time of closing, with full 2012 farming rights. Real Estate Taxes: The Seller will pay the 2011 real estate taxes, payable in 2012, at the time of closing.
