1 forest management & services division Growing a sustainable future
2 introduction Our Forest Management and Services Division is at the core of our forestry business. We manage over 200,000 hectares of woodland and we have planted over 60,000ha of new woodlands in the last two decades. We have the knowledge and expertise to undertake work at any scale. The division is involved in all fields of forestry activity We lead the industry in creating new woodlands, managing existing woodlands and delivery of management planning, grants and felling licences. In addition, our services extend to fencing, amenity and conservation work, invasive species control, forest roading and a wide range of estate and rural land management. Working closely with our colleagues in timber harvesting, forest certification and GIS mapping, Scottish Woodlands is able to offer clients a comprehensive range of forestry and estate services of the highest professional standards. We have a skilled team of professional foresters operating from our 13 regional offices to provide a service based on local knowledge. Safety, Environment and Quality are at the heart of our philosophy. Our Integrated Management System includes external certification to ISO 9001 and ISO In addition we hold dual certification Group Scheme Manager status to both FSC and PEFC. This allows us to certify our clients woodland to internationally recognised standards for responsible forest management. For further information, please contact us using the details on the rear cover.
