4 2 Information regarding agenda item no. 6 Dr Peter Jansen Dr Peter Jansen was born in Aachen, Germany, on 7 March He is married, and has two daughters. Having finished grammar school and completed a banking apprenticeship, Dr Jansen studied economics and business pedagogics at the University of Cologne and the University of Paris, finishing his studies as Graduate Teacher of Commerce (Diplom-Handels lehrer). He completed his doctorate at the University of Cologne general business studies, with a focus on banking business in 1984, earning his PhD in Political Sciences. From 1980 to 1984, Dr Jansen worked as a scientific staff member at the University of Cologne, with a focus on banking business, marketing, financing, human resources management, and advanced training. He joined Deutsche Lufthansa in 1984, as training subject specialist in business science in Cologne. He assumed responsibility for the Central Advanced Training/Management Training department in In 1992 he managed the Projects and Methods team in the central office of Group Controlling, where his responsibilities included monitoring the group-wide Lufthansa restructuring programme. Dr Jansen moved to Frankfurt/Main in 1994, where he was appointed Head of Group Auditing. Two years later, he headed up the Programme 15/Cost Management project; in 1999 he took over as head of Group Controlling & Cost Management. Dr Jansen was appointed to the Executive Board of Lufthansa Technik AG in January His area of responsibility is the Finance division, including the functions of accounting/financial reporting, finance, controlling and legal services. On 25 June 2015 Dr. Peter Jansen will be up for election for DVB Bank SE s Supervisory Board for the first time. 5 Information regarding agenda item no. 6 3 Ulrike Donath Ms Ulrike Donath was born on 5 February 1960 in Wuppertal, Germany. Having finished grammar school in Remscheid-Lennep, Germany, Ms Donath studied general business administration at the University of Cologne, focusing on auditing and tax, where she graduated in business administration in Ms Donath started her professional career at GEBERA, where she worked as a junior advisor for two years, focusing on commercial advisory projects for hospital administrations. She joined Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Cologne in October 1986, as an accounting officer. She was appointed Head of the Accounting department in October 1989, and Head of the Group Accounting department in January 1992 a position she held until leaving Deutsche Lufthansa in Her responsibilities included preparing Deutsche Lufthansa AG s financial statements and consolidated financial statements, in accordance with German GAAP and IAS/IFRS, as well as sub-group financial statements of Deutsche Lufthansa Group s various business lines. Her department had sole authorisation to set guidelines for the group s entire accounting and financial reporting. In addition, within the framework of numerous M&A projects, Ms Donath acted as the responsible contact to third parties entrusted with the financial due diligence process, and also advised on accounting recognition issues. In 2010, Ms Ulrike Donath started a mediation training course at the University of Hagen, which she successfully concluded in November She has been active as a freelance mediator for business and family mediation since then. On 25 June 2015 Ulrike Donath will be up for election for DVB Bank SE s Supervisory Board for the first time.
