1 2015 Hariksha Peoples welfare trust August and September monthly Report The Ganesh Chathurthy, generally celebrated all over India, in the year 2015 the celebration is took place on 17 th September In the learning center we made special pooja, decoration, the Ganesh Idol is decorated with Turmeric & Sandal Paste. All the staff members, children of Rainbow Life Children Home are participated. Special food menu prepared and distributed to all of them. At home we created a small, clean corner decorated with flowers (seasonable available flower and grass) and other colorful items, we installed the clay idol, offered the variety of the seasonable fruits, special food menu prepared and offered. After the pooja the children are enjoyed the special food menu, fruits. The children are very happy to celebrate the Ganesh Chathurty celebration.

2 Hariksha new s In August 2015 Mrs. Lakshmi Shridhar, Board of Trustees, Hariksha People s Welfare Trust announced her resignation from the board. On 7 th August she and Mr. Sridhar visited in our center and donate Rs 25,000/- towards the welfare of Gingee adult women s home, we requested her to continue to support and extension trustee post until the new board member selected our organization. In the month of August a series of POLICE officials made their enquiries regarding the FCRA On 31 st July Mr. Srinivasan from CBCID department visited and obtained the relevant information about our organization and its activities. On 6 th August Mr. Paul from Q Branch department made call and acquire the necessary information from the board members and needed information Mr. Pandurangan visited our organization on 7 th August collected the documents and reports regarding the activities of our organization and its work. Then Mr. Palani from Vellore obtained the details and information about our organization and activities. On 23 rd September, the District Social Welfare Officer Mrs. Umaiyal made her surprise visit to our children home. She verified all the infra-structure of our home. She had discussion with the children about their stay in our home. She verified all the registers and records of the home. The annual accounts is audited by the Auditor, the Income Tax Returns are submitted to the Income Tax Department on 25 th of this month. We have submitted the FCRA Return form on 25 th September KDM, France is supported to make the partition works of the Hariksha Learning Centre Class room. In the meanwhile they supported to make the special chairs and furniture for the Learning Centre. We have submitted proposal to the Pratap Patel Charitable Trust, requesting various support for Rainbow Life Children Home and for the Hariksha Special Home for the Adult Mentally Retarded Girls, Gingee. District Social Welfare Officer Mrs. Umaiyal conducted a meeting on 30 th September, in this meeting she shared the information about the Aadhar card for the children, need to obtain the Income Certificate for the children s family, Shared about the registers to be maintained, the food menu, hygienic things and clothing information as per the Juvenile Justice Act

The Bank Account is opened in the Pallavan Bank, Avalurpet Branch. Our Learning Center 14 child, who requires mobility equipment are taken with measurement on 25 th August by the Ortho technician from Pondicherry. All the equipment are made ready and received to our center on 15 th September. It was decided to make ready for the uniform, the measurement for the uniform took place on 19 th September. The uniforms for the girl children will be stitched by one of our child (Shalini s) mother and for the male children the uniform will be stitched by Mr. Karim from Erumpoondi.

4 New Admission The child Raja. A joined in our Learning Centre on 10 th August 2015, his father is Aswathaman and the mother is Saraswathi. The child and family resides in Thayanur Village. The prenatal history shows that the mother fell down during the 5 th month pregnancy. After this she has no problem. During the delivery of the child the mother got two days the labour pain then the doctors done the caesarian for the delivery of the child. The delivery is took place in JIPMER Hospital, Pondicherry. The post natal history of the child is that the child weight is 3 kg during the delivery, the child is not cried after the delivery. The child kept in the incubator for 18 days, the feeding and sucking is good. After this at the age of 3 years the child got convulsion for which they treated in Chetpet Dr. Vijayaprakash, he referred to treat the child in NIMANS, Bangalore. The parents are treated the child in Gingee Hospital and treated for the epileptic fits. The milestone of the child (head control, individual attention, crawling, sitting, standing and walking) is delayed. The activities of daily living is got affected in the following He is not aware about the urination and stool passing; he passes it in the dress itself. He is not able to clean himself, not able to do bathing, not able to do brushing; he is not able to wear his dress. He is not able to eat, while he feels hungry he use to cry. His communication skill is very poor, he can able to tell Amma and he can ask for water. Apart from this his peculiar character is that he is not able to sit in one place, he always wandering here and there. His socialization is good, his IQ level is upto the age of three years. The child Logarasi, Date of Birth: (3 ½ Years) from Thazangunam village with the complaints of CP/MR got admitted in our Learning Centre on 7 th September The parents are Jayabal & Bavani are living in Thazhangunam Village, Gingee Taluk, Avalurpet. The prenatal history shows that no complication, the parents underwent the regular routine health check up, they done the periodical scan and the mother has not health problem during pregnancy. The child is born with full term and prolonged labour pain, there is a delayed in cry of the baby, the baby weight is 2.5 kg, the baby born in the Government Hospital, Avalurpet in a normal delivery. After the birth the baby feed and sucks the mother s milk well.

5 The parents are provided the prescribed immunization dosages periodically and on time, during the childhood the child had no major health complaints. At the age of 1 year the child got affected with convulsion (the convulsion is reflects the child raise the legs and hands and make vibration). The parents immediately rushed to the Government Baby Hospital, Chennai. There the doctors done the needed medical investigation and provided with medication, at present they are getting the medicine from the Government Hosptial, Avalurpet. Till date they are continuing the medication. The child is born with the consanguineous marriage, the parents are not aware and deformity, but the developments and the milestones (head control, sitting, crawling, standing and walking) are delayed achieved by the baby. The child s listening, seeing and observation is good. The child s Activities of Daily Living is good, she can able to feel the motion & urine. For urination she will call the mother, for passing motion she will inform the mother with child s language. She is not used to pass the motion & urine in the dress, after removal of the dress only she use to pass the motion and urine. She use to try to eat herself for some time, she is trying to do the brushing herself. Her communication is good, she is calling the parents, relatives with the relationship. Her socialization is with only the family members, she is not casual with the outsiders. She likes to play with dolls, she responds to the questions Yes or No by shaking her head. She can distinguish the eatables which can eat which is not eatable. Till date the parents are not obtained the national identity card from the District Differently Abled Welfare Office, Villupuram. Parents Meeting The Parents meeting in the month of August is took place on 8 th August During the August Parents Staff consultative meeting 23 parents / relatives are participated. This days is one of the local festival (Aadi kruthigai) so the attendees are less. o The information shared among the parents that the children receiving their maintenance grant through the bank account will be provided with Rs. 500/- extra. They will receive 1,500/- this month. The letter is sent to all the children house and we also received a copy of this letter o While discussed regarding the receipt of the maintenance grant regularly Vignesh, Syed Irfan and Kathiravan parents relatives said that they are not receiving the grant regularly, Periaswami and Sarathi s grant is not released for last three months. o The parents relatives are requested to extend their support and positive contribution towards the Learning center running and maintenance expenses

Shalini, Shanthi, Mageswari & Gowtham are long absent o Karthik & Manopriya parents are not attending the meeting regularly so the other parents from the same & neighbor village are informed to share that they have to come and meet the staff in the Learning Centre o Gokula Kannan s mother shared the information that she felt a good changes and improvement with him o Marimuthu s grannie shared the information that he is good in his house o Ranjani s mother shared the information that her daughter feels good in the hostel o Sarathi s mother informed that his son is able to go to shop for purchase and give and get the change from the shop The Parents meeting for the month of September is took place on 5 th September 2015, Saturday, in this meeting 26 parents relatives are participated

7 o Marimuthu s grannie requested to extend the school van service up to their house, the Managing Trustee informed them that after the visit to their house we will decide about the extension regarding, we informed the grand mother to come to our learning center to spend one day with the grandson in our Learning Center o Manopriya s mother requested to extend the school van up to Boodhamangalam village o The parents are requested to extend their contribution cash / kind whatever they can able o The parents relatives are asked about that whoever not received the National Disable Id card and all are guided to take necessary steps to obtain the ID Card o The children below 10 years has to obtain a doctor certificate from the concern Primary Health Center and need to submit it o Parents willing to apply for the maintenance grant has to fill the application and has to submit to the DDAWO Office, Villupuram o The parents are admired that the care takers Mrs. Kamatchi & Shanthi are with good care to the children o Gokul shows good development o The parents are shared the information that their expectation is that we have to make their children independent (doing their daily activity of living themselves) o The physiotherapy training sessions reveals that Vimala & Sujatha are performing well o The information shared to the parents that for 14 children we are making the mobility equipment (ortho equipment) Staff Meeting The staff meeting for the month of August is took place on 8 th August 2015 In this meeting the care taker is absent (her younger brother expired) The information shared that in the camp took place in the Gingee the beneficiaries participated are 240 people

8 The staff are informed to get the list of the 240 and in it we have to filter the Mentally Retarded female list separately The special educator Buvaneswari is appreciated that her approach and discussion with the parents is admirable Sathish driver is informed as he is the resident staff his presence should be always available in the centre, in a day he can go out for a short while, if he want to permission which has to inform prior The special educator Buvaneswari is assigned with the work that she has to take care of the uniform stitching responsibilities (selection of the tailor, receive from them on time, etc.,) & she has to look after the contribution from the parents for the Vehicle running and maintenance expenses, she also has to discuss with the parent who all are absent during the monthly parents relatives meeting The staff are requested to prepare the local sponsor list for the past five years The Driver Sathish is the complete responsible person for all the maintenance of the school van The staff are asked about their requirement of the teaching materials and other equipment for their respective classes The staff are requested to gather (officially) and discuss at least once in a month The staff meeting for the month of September took place on 5 th September 2015 In this meeting except Sathish (Driver) all other staff took part and discussed about various information Question raised to the staff that whether the Evaluation has been completed to all the children and report made ready? While observing it feels the regular class is not very well managed, but it found the Therapy learning sessions are very well The staff are asked about the two new admission requirement in Thayanoor whether house visit and the children details obtained? The staff are requested to do their job with full involvement, without their heart feeling and involvement the works will not fulfill The staff are instructed to go to the field next Saturday The staff are instructed to complete the account opening work on or before Monday Celebration Shalini s 8 th birthday is celebrated on 18 th August 2015 with cake, she is enjoyed the cake cutting and distribution to the other children.

9 R. Manigandan s Birthday celebrated on 16 th September, he is provided with cake and he distribute it to all the children and the staff, he enjoyed the celebration. The Government Official Visit The District Differently Abled Welfare Officer, Villupuram made his routine visit on 18 th August 2015 to verify the activities regarding the Food Grant and Teacher s Grant application. The officer inspected infrastructure, equipments, teaching materials, registers, records, etc., He suggested that the evaluation report maintenance is good, which need to be maintain for the CP children also. He also discussed with the staff members; he suggested maintaining the therapy record also. He shared the information that the proposal submitted for the food grant and teacher s salary grant has minor mistakes which has to rectify and need to submit on or before 20 th to DDAWO Office. He shared his greeting to the birthday baby on that day shalini.

10 Local Sponsor in August and September In the month of August Mr. Amitab Kannan (friend of Mr. Shridhar) donated Rs. 21,000/- as a cash contribution to support the Hariksha Learning Centre Children food and dress expenses. Mr. Srinivasan from Arani his provided sweets our children on 4 th August Mr. A. T. Elumalai, residing in Avalurpet, provided 3 days (6 th, 7 th & 11 th of August) mid time meals to our children to share the joy of his son s birthday. Mr. Karthikeyan working in the Committee of Avalurpet provide the mid time meals on 10 th August towards Mr. Muniappan s memory. Mr. Natarajan from Avalurpet provided the mid time meals on 14 th August towards his father s memory. The Tulsi - self help group functioning in Avalurpet Vysya street are provided Note Books, Pencils, Pen and stationeries on 15 th August for our children usage.

11 The continues sponsor Mr. Nagarajan working in the Avalurpet Committee provided the mid time meals on 20 th August Mr. Seenivasan from Kilpennathur provided Biscuits, snacks and savories on 27 th August Mr. Sathish from Erumpoondi provided the mid time meals on 27 th August to celebrate his sone Prithiv s birthday In the month of August the parents relatives of the listed children are provided Rs. 5,800/- as a total contribution towards the vehicle running expenses. On 31 st August (Monday) we received 18 types of equipment Supination and Pronation with shoulder exercise, Shoulder Pulley (T type), Physio (Gym) Ball 65 cm, Physio (Gym) Ball 75 cm, Balance Board, Balance Mattress, Finger Exercise Ball, Finger extension Exerciser, Hand Gripper Exerciser, CP Walker, Scooter Board Big, Wedger 36 length, Trampoline, Peg Board, Pin Peg Board, Shapes Peg Board, Pictures Peg Board, Counting Board. The materials are distributed by the Villupuram District Collector, through the Department of Differently Abled Welfare, Villupuram. Mr. Subramanian from Big Street, Avalurpet, provided the mid time meals to share the joy of his grandson s birthday celebration on 2 nd September. The Villupuram Pudhu Vazhvu scheme members 15 nos. are visited our Learning Center and provided 20 packs of biscuits for our children on 3 rd September. On 4 th September, Mr. Ilavarasan, the VAO Assistant, Avalurpet provided the mid time meals to our children

12 Mr. Venugopal, Ex-servicemany (military) provided the mid time meals on 8 th September On 15 th September Raja/Kala Avalurpet Village president provided the mid time meals for the memory of their son Mr. Anandhan (friend of Seenuvasan) from Arani provided 10 bag of rice on 18 th September for our children food purpose The regular supporter Mr. Nagarajan provided the mid time meals on 23 rd September Mrs. Thenmozhi provided the mid time meals on 25 th September to celebrate the wedding anniversary Give India Donation Last two month we received Rs /- (Thirty eight thousand eight hundred sixty two Rupees only) as a contribution from Give India for the various children of Hariksha Learning Centre for the various option of support. KDM Training During the month of August 12 days (3,5,7,10,12,14,17,19,21,25,26,28 & 31 st of August) the training took place, as it is important that to assess the children the sessions are dealt with the subjects and topics of assessment. On 28 th the types of calipers, its uses, how to maintain it are taught. The coming training session is planned and will dealt with the subjects of Individual goal fixation according to the assessment need.

13 During the September month Training the seven parents are participated with their full attention, the parents are provided with honorarium Rs. 500/- During through out the September month training the sessions is mainly focused about the Assessment Range of Motion, Spasticity, Muscle Power Assessment, Functional Assessment, etc., As it plays important role specifically focused to this subject. The trainees are provided with the information how to use the mobility equipment. Flori is going for holidays from 26 th September to 10 th October.

15 The fourteen children Manopriya, Parameswari, P. Shalini, Archana, Gokul, Goulakannan, Vinitha, Manjula, Arjunan, Sarathi, Deepak, Karthic, Vignesh and Srimurugan are getting the regular physiotherapy exercises by the physiotherapist Mr. Gandhi. KDM sponsoring the mobility equipment for our children, the technician from Pondicherry came on 25 th August and took the measurement for our children. The ortho equipment delivery on 15 th September to our HLC children s.

16 Maintenance On 31 st August the school van s front live spring plate 2 numbers are broken, immediately it is replaced and made it ready. In September 2 fans got repaired, it made it ready. All the classes the bulbs are replaced. In Classrooms the partition alteration, the repair works of the school furniture, the chairs repair, tables repair, the C Table alteration and many carpentry alteration works are carried out. Field Visit The weekend Saturday field Visit is made by the staff members, Flori and Lavanya visited one side of the villages and Muniyammal & Buvana are visited other side of the villages. They met the children in their family, got feedback from the family members, observed the socialization, neighbors approach, family members approach of the children, etc., Rainbow Life Children Home

17 On 23 rd September, the District Social Welfare Officer Mrs. Umaiyal made her surprise visit to our children home. She verified all the infra-structure of our home. She had discussion with the children about their stay in our home. She verified all the registers and records of the home. On 23 rd of this month with the guidance of District Child Protection Unit (Department of Social Defence) the children are taken to Government Aided Children Home to take the Photo for the AADHAR (unique identity card for the Indian Nationality). The details and application are furnished. Selvaperumal went to his home town on to attend his uncle s daughter marriage. His elder sister took him to the home town, he came back to our home on 27 th August. Saravanan & Mani went to their home town to attend their parent s death memory day on 17 th September.

18 Thiagarajan s mother had health problem, due to this he went to meet her on 23 rd September and came back on 24 th afternoon. Local Contribution On 2 nd August Mr. Karthikeyan provided the breakfast for our children Mr. K. P. Shanmugam provided the dinner for our children on 2 nd August On 7 th August Mr. Palani, Cement Works provided food for our children Mr. Kumar provided the night dinner for the children on 18 th August in the memory of his son Mr. Seenuvasan From Arani provided 20 Bags of rice to the children food purpose on 25 th August Mr. Vinayagam provided the chocolates and morning snacks to the children on 26 th September to share the happiness of his daughter. Give India Donation Last two month we received Rs /- (Twenty nine thousand five hundred sixty three Rupees only) as a contribution from Give India for the various children of Rainbow life children home for the various donation option of support. Independence Day Celebration On 15 th August, the children are celebrated our Independence Day. The children are provided with the Flag to brooch in their shirt, the children are provided with the sweets. Our children are participated in the many extracurricular activities to exhibit their talents in their schools. The children studying in the Sri Srinivasa High School Surya, Saravanan, Manigandan, Vishnu, Savariappan and Vikram (6 children) are participated in the sports pyramid event and won prizes. The children are performed their talent excellently. Revathy participated in the singing competition and won prizes, Sneha participated in the drawing competition and won prizes. The second prize is won by our child Surya. All the children are very happy and very proud to won the prizes.

19 Health Revathy got fever on 20 th August, for which we treated her with Dr. Siva Shanmugam, needed medication provided to her and she got cured. The team members of Health Department visited our home on 27 th August, they done the Malaria blood test for all our children. They guided our children with information that what are the diseases spread through mosquitos, how to prevent it. How to keep our place clean and mosquito free. Sneha had health problem on 1 st September, for which the needed medical treatment provided with Dr. Sivashanmugam and necessary medication provided to him. Asha (Junior) got fever on 6 th September for which treated with Dr. Sivashanmugam, needed medicine provided and she got cured. Soundharya had stomach pain on 7 th September for which necessary medical treatment provided to him with Dr. Sivashanmugam. Surya got injured on 16 th September in the hand finger for which first aid and treatment provided with Dr. Sivashanmugam

20 Pandian had ulcer in the mouth, swelling and often he gets pain for which he was treated with Dr. Sivashanmugam on 23 rd September and needed medicines provided to him. On 20 th August, the higher education children are provided with new school uniforms.

On 12 th August, she got admitted in the Higher Secondary Education in Government Girls Higher Secondary School in the Home Science course. Pandian and Venkatesan got admitted in the Kamban Industrial Training Centre, Vengikkal. The fees for the course Rs. 30,000/- paid on 17 th August. Apart from the course fee Rs. 5,000/- paid as a book and stationery fee, then they are instructed to buy tools for their training purpose, we provided them the tools for Rs. 3290/-

22 For Prasanth, Parabagaran and selvaperumal we paid Rs. 2,000/- towards the school fee, after the payment of the school fee they are provided with the record books. Ramesh is started to attend the Special Education Diploma in Teacher Education (2 years course) from Paul Institute of Teacher Education, Thandrampattu. He is staying in Rainbow Life Children Boys Home, everyday he uses to go to the college. We paid the 5 th Semester fee of Thiagarajan Rs. 16,000/- to the polytechnic college. Apart from the college semester fee, we paid Rs. 1,500/- as a Industrial visit expenses. The Quarterly examination started for 11 th & 12 th Students are started on 10 th September. For all other children the examinations commenced from 15 th September and completed on 24 th September. After the examination the children are announced with 10 days holidays. The school will be re-open on 5 th October. The children are worked hard to attend their examinations and now the children are enjoying the holidays. Thiagarajan attended the Industrial Visit arranged by the Polytechnic College. He started from Tiruvannamalai on 3 rd September at 8 pm., First they visited the JIDR Tooling Centre and completed their Industrial Visit. Then they went to OOTY (the tourist place), then they visited a temple near and while coming back they visited the Black Thunder (Theme Park). Thiagarajan enjoyed much with his college friends the Industrial Visit and the Tourist places. Maintenance The water tank pipe in the girls home got damaged and which is replaced on 13 th August, the tube bulbs which are fused are replaced on 27 th August. The school Van hand break is made ready on 15 th of this month. The Cooker got repair which was made ready on 28 th September The school van Tata Magic engine head had problem, which made ready on 16 th September.

23 Birthday Celebrations P. Parameswari celebrated her birthday on 5 th August 2015, she distributed sweets to all the children. On 9 th August 2015 Sneha celebrated her birthday, she enjoyed the celebration by distributing sweets to the children Amsaveni celebrated her birthday on 17 th August, she distributed sweet to all the children Prabagaran celebrated his birthday on 23 rd August, he enjoyed the distribution of sweet to all the children Admission In the month of August a boy named VIKRAM, 11 Years, got admitted in Rainbow Life Children Home. The family history is that his mother Muniammal is passed away, his father Radha works as a load man in the lorry. He is not cared by his father. After the sad demise of the mother the boy is taken care by the grand parents Durai / Chinnammal. Due to the age the grand parents are not able to fulfill the basic needs of the child. Considering the very pathetic situation the boy got admitted in our Rainbow Life Children Home. The boys is studying in 6 th Standard in Tamil Medium School, the school head master found the pathetic situation and refer this boy for our home admission. Revathy, is the daughter of the care taker Puspa. Her father is run away from family mother works as a residence staff in our center. Due to this she has no possibility to take care of her daughter. So she got admitted in our centre. The Child Welfare Committee, Tiruvannamalai, referred two children Vetrivel & Rubesh to accommodate temporarily. The family study reveals that in a family quarrel the father drop stone in the mother s head which makes her with big head injury and she is under various critical medical interventions. Continuously she is under hospitalized and under medical attention, the maternal grandmother is taking care of her in the hospital. On the same day the father got afraid for the police enquiry and legal issues, due to this he ran away from the house while crossing the road he met with an accident with unknown vehicle. In this accident he is dead on the spot. After the sad demise of the father and the mother is with severe health problem and hospitalized the children has no relatives and shelter to take care. With above said pathetic situation the children were admitted in our home by the Child Welfare Committee. Restoration

24 On 27 th July E. Ramachandran started as usual from our home to the school. But he is not attended the school, he went along with his friends to roam, then he came back in the evening as usual to our home. He is not shared the information with any one, the school authority informed about the absence (in exam) of Ramachandran. While we asked him he is not respond it and informed us that he wants to go back to his home town to live with his mother and relatives. We called her mother and had discussion, she also express her willing of take back him to their house. Considering the boy s interest and mother s willing the boy is restored to the family members. Ramya failed in the 10 th Standard Government Public examination and again she appeared in the immediate re-appearance examination. But again she failed in English in Science examination. After the results she expressed her interest that she wants to go back to her family and she want to appear the re-appearance the exams again. We called the parents relatives to discuss about her willing, they said as per Ramya s willing they try to keep her in their house. She is restored with the parents on 3 rd August Visitor Hemri, Helen, Loriame are visited Rainbow Life Children Home. The children are welcomed them. In this Hemri & Loriame are from France and Ms. Helen is from England. They are explained about the activities of Hariksha Peoples Welfare Trust and its activities. They visited the children home and had discussion with the children, they played with the children. Loriane buy some gift for our Rainbow children boys and girls, the children are enjoyed their presence. They also visited the Hariksha Learning Centre, Avalurpet and Harisha Special Home for the Elder Girls with Special Needs. Finaly Helen donate 1000/- and Loriane and henri donate Rs 19230/- towards Purchases of Television for Gingee adult MR womens home. They all are share their testimony follows Mr. Henri Testimony:

I was full of joy of the weekend when I returned to Sharana in Pondy yesterday and spent the morning talking of your mission and showed the finance team the lovely photographs of the children. I really think you have something really very special in the Rainbow project and it was wonderful to see and experience. When I get back to the UK I upload these to my computer and share with you. It would be lovely to stay in touch. I spoke to one of the older boys (I'm sorry I'm not sure of his name) briefly about his desire to become an accountant. I hope he follows this dream and would be happy to try and answer any questions he may have. With very best wishes. 27 HARIKSHA Home for Adult Mentally Retarded Women The parents, relatives are regularly visiting their children very often in our home. Local Contribution On 7 th August Mr. Mohataj provided biscuits to the girls in our home Ms. Vanitha provided biscuits on for the girls Our Board Member Mrs. Lakshmi Shridhar s husband Mr. Shridhar contributed Rs. 25,000/- towards the expenses of the special home for the adult special need girls. Ms. Kumari provided sweets to the children on 8 th September. Our Trustee Mrs. R. Sujatha Provided one set dress to all the children

28 Accompanying the Government Camp On 4 th August we participated the medical camp in Thirukovilur & Kallkurichi, on 5 th August we participated the camp in Tindivanam and Vanur and 6 th August we participated in Sankarapuram & Ulundurpet. On 23 rd September we also attended the camp organized in Tiruvannamalai for the Special Need Children & People. The camp is organized by the Government we shared the information to the participant that a home for the elder girls 14 Years 35 Years with special needs is initiated and functioning in Gingee, if anybody willing to admit the special need elder girls very well to contact our Managing Trustee.

29 Health On 29 th September the girl Rohini had chest pain for which treated in the Government Hospital, needed medication and treatment provided to her. Maintenance The fan in the home got repaired which is made ready on 12 th September. Staff Appointment Ms. Ranjitha got appointed as a staff of Hariksha Home on 2 nd September. On 9 th September Ms. Kamala joined in our Hariksha Home Ms. Nandhini got appointed as a staff team members on 14 th September. Field Visit On 24 th September we visited the Alampoondi & Mazhavndhangal Village, and on 25 th September we visited Appampattu, Pattapudhur, Meenampudhur, Kavarai Colony, Kavarai Village - we had discussion with the village president and the people related to the Disable Welfare. We informed them about the initiative of the Hariksha Special Home for the Adult Girls and its operation. Thank you
