3 Welcome Dear friends, It is with great honour and pleasure to invite you to the tenth AVUS meeting dedicated to vascular sonography, vascular imaging, vascular interventions, vascular surgery and angiology. The meeting is the result of international collaboration of distinguished speakers, a team of clinicians and experts in the field of vascular medicine. Distinguished faculty members from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, but also from UK, Israel, Hungary guarantee high quality of lectures that will cover all fields of vascular ultrasound. The attendants will benefit from the lectures, hands-on sessions, clinical case analyisis and personal communication with speakers, by sharing experiance and knowledge in the field of vascular imaging and intervention. We look forward to meeting you in the beautiful Lovran, jewel of Adriatic sea and the place with the oldest tourist tradition on Croatian coast for the sixth time, for another memmorable course.
