3 User Guides Individual Registration Step 1: on the ebiz portal homepage, click on the New User Registration Link Step 2: Click on the Continue Button under Individual Member Registration

6 Frequently Asked Questions 1. How do I get started? Ans. Prior to invoking any of the services, you must first register with ebiz. Registration is a two step process. You first need to register yourself as an individual and get yourself a Login account. User registration will enable to invoke some services that are not linked to a Business Name Availability etc. The second step is to register your business. This would enable you to access the complete set of ebiz services such as Registering with various Tax and other Regulatory agencies, Apply for utility connections and services related to Regulatory filings. 2. Is there a fee for registration? Ans. No there is no fee for registering on ebiz. Fees are applicable when you start applying for services. The fee will be dependent on the service availed. 3. How do I provide Feedback? Ans. You may provide feedback about the site and its functionality through . Please mail your feedback to [email protected]. 4. What are the services that are available on ebiz? Ans. Ans. ebiz is integrated with an electronic payment gateway. You can make payment towards the services online using online or offline payment (after generating challan on ebiz portal) through any of the integrated banks (available in the dropdown on payment page). Payment can also be made using credit card/ debit card and Net Banking facilities. 6. After applying for the service through ebiz, how do I know the status of my application? Do I need to contact the departments for status update? Ans. ebiz is integrated with department systems and processes. Hence you will receive the status updates on your application on the ebiz portal. You can use the status page on the ebiz portal to learn the status of your application and also respond to any queries/clarifications raised by the department.

9 7. How can I update/change my personal information? Ans. Personal information can be edited by logging in to ebiz website and editing the details present in the My details section. These changes will get reflected in the system once you login the next time. 8. What happens if I lose my username and / or password? Ans. In case you forget your username and / or password, please visit the Forgot Password link to provide details and retrieve your login details. An with your login details will be sent to your registered address. 9. What information do you need when I begin to register? Ans. In case of individual member registration, details such as name, date of birth, address telephone number etc. are required. In case of a business registration, details such as name of the establishment, address, address etc. are required. 10. What to do if I didn t receive an confirmation after registration? Ans. On registration, an confirmation is sent. In case you have not received the confirmation, you may do the following a. Please check whether the has been saved under your Trash / Spam folder. This may happen because of your account settings. b. In case your mailbox is full and the mail has bounced, please clear your mailbox and send a mail to [email protected] with your login details and a confirmation mail will be sent to you. c. In case the address provided by you is incorrect, please log in and change the details. Then send a mail to [email protected] with your login details and a confirmation mail will be sent to you.

The content of this website, including information, tools and links, is intended to be helpful to the widest range of businesses. The purpose of this website is to enable efficient G2B interactions for existing business entities and those intending to start a business by providing access to information and services. 3. ebiz website Content Infosys will ensure that content on this site is accurate and current on a best effort basis. Infosys shall address any errors or omissions on a priority basis as soon as they are notified by either the business users or government departments. Payments are accepted through the ebiz payment gateway which is enabled by a third party. The terms and conditions of the payment gateway are different from those of ebiz and it is advised that the users read them carefully. 7. Security Infosys does not take any responsibility of data transmission over the internet and does not guarantee that it will be totally secure. Infosys will strive to protect such information but does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information transmitted to us from the users. Such transmission of

Infosys will not be liable for any damages or loss arising out of or resulting from any unauthorised access to ebiz and /or alteration or modification of the information contained on ebiz website. Infosys will strive to deploy the best anti-virus procedures and checks on ebiz website but is not responsible for exposure of the users to viruses while trying to access ebiz website. Infosys is not liable for any malicious code or hacking attempts made on the user machine and recommends deployment of antivirus software and regular scanning of documents downloaded from the internet. 15 2.2 Business Related Information As an ebiz registered business entity, the information provided by you is stored securely and may be used in pre-filling data for certain G2B forms. This information is submitted to respective government departments when you submit the form. ebiz may use certain profiling information to offer specific services, to provide notifications regarding changes to our services, to collect feedback to improve our services. 2.3 Facts In certain cases, facts provided by you such as PAN, TAN, Tax Registration Numbers etc. may be compared by ebiz with a reference database provided by government departments. If the information matches with the reference database then ebiz may use information provided by the government department. For e.g. In case you provide your PAN number, ebiz may verify the address in the PAN database of Income Tax Department with the address provided by you while registering on ebiz. 3. Website Usage and Actions In addition to the information that you provide to ebiz, ebiz receives and stores a range of website usage information whenever you use ebiz website.
