2 Sand Hills Community College Program Manager/Service Dog Trainer/Kennel Master Pinehurst, North Carolina Program Manager for the Puppies Assisting with Sight (PAWS) program at McCain Correctional Hospital. Taught inmates the fundamentals of canine obedience, dog psychology and dog sociology. Prepared puppies to become adult guide dogs with emphasis on Basic Obedience, Focus Training and Kennel Maintenance. Supervised inmates outside the correctional facility during outings where the canines were handled within civilian environments. United States Military (ARMY) As a member of the United States Army Southern Command, responsibilities included tactical resolution of special threat situations. Main responsibilities were to secure and protect seven military reservations, prepared for terrorist attacks, both foreign and domestic, barricaded incidents, with and without hostages, specialized in military police riot control, conducted high risk warrant apprehensions, drug raids, protection of dignitaries and responded to natural and manmade disasters. Management of Emergency Operations Command Post. As a Kennel Master maintained a 20-dog kennel, financial management, counsel and supervised twenty canine teams. Missions consisted deployment of Presidential explosives dogs teams, narcotics dog teams to assist in border drug control. Prepared training for all assigned detector dogs. Prepared canine teams for deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. Instrumental in the security and policy change of deployment of Military Working Dog teams on military installations after September 11, Assistant Kennel Master/Training NCO/Explosive Detector Dog Handler Performed duties as training Noncommissioned Officer and Assistant Kennel Master for a 20-dog kennel. Responsible for operations, intelligence gathering, training, planning, exercises activities and the safekeeping of explosive and narcotic training aids. Principal enlisted advisor to the commander. Performed explosive detection, law enforcement, and security duties for the Fort Benning community, the United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies.

3 Completed numerous counter explosive missions with the United States Secret Service for the President and Vice President of the United States, United States Senators, various Heads of State, foreign dignitaries and ambassadors with mission success. Performed over 950 explosive ordinance detection (EOD) missions. Maintained assigned military working dog at 98% proficiency, exceeding the Army standard of 95%. Prepared military working dog teams, both detector and patrol, for deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. Assisted in the converting of six phase dogs to the new Out and Guard technique. Trained foreign police stationed at The United States Army School of the Americas in the utilization and capabilities of military working dogs with focus on explosives and narcotics detection. Assisted in the training of local law enforcement agencies in their effort to implement police canine programs for their departments. Coordinated training with civilian law enforcement agencies to stay current on new working dog training techniques. Performed over 200 Military working dog demonstrations for the military community and civilian events as Noncommissioned Officer In Charge for Military Working Dog Demo Team. In charge of training of all assigned military working dog teams and certifications for teams. Kennel Master / Narcotic Dog Trainer/Handler Provided narcotic detection/interdiction and patrol enforcement operations for seven major defense sites in the Republic of Panama. Supported commanders in counter-drug trafficking and interdiction throughout the United States Army South Theater (Central and South America). Assisted the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division in narcotic operations. Supervised the training and certifications of four narcotics dog teams. Conducted over 1000 narcotic detection missions; Responsible for the detection and confiscation of over 90 plus kilos of illegal narcotics being mailed through the United States Postal Service.

4 Trained Special Forces Soldiers, DEA agents, CIA agents and FBI agents attending the Jungle Operations Training Battalion s Air Crew Survival Course, in patrol, tracking and evading capture. Military Schools: The United States Air Force Military Working Dog Handler Course Completed military working dog training with a focus on the principles of conditioning canines; the health and welfare of canines; the sociology and psychology of canines; maintaining proficiency of military working dogs in detection, obedience, controlled aggression, scouting, building searches and tracking; maintaining military working dog training records, reports and forms and kennel maintenance.
