Drum pumps leave 2 to 5 gallons of product in empty containers, which can add up to hundreds of wasted dollars annually. Drums and pumps require tipping, cleaning, switching and replacing, and they waste valuable space that could be utilized for production or other needs. For example, nine 55-gallon drums (495 gallons) require about 120 square feet of floor space, compared to a nine-container IFH System (585 gallons) that requires only 19 square feet of floor space. 8 Part # IFH System Options Gravity Flow Lube Station: The GFLS combined with an IFH Fluid Storage & Dispensing System and one or more IFH Mobile Fluid Handling Carts will facilitate the handling of any lubricant or fluid that is commonly transferred from a centralized storage location to a tank or reservoir. In the picture, the GFLS is being utilized to fill the container on an IFH Mobile Fluid Handling Cart. Gravity Flow Lube Stations are available in 4-, 6-, and 8-hose configurations. Stainless Steel Containers: Stainless Steel 65-gallon containers are appropriate for water-based fluids and corrosives. 316 stainless steel threaded flanges are inserted for sight gauge, vent and product inlet openings. Valve arrangements are constructed of rigid polyethylene and stainless steel fittings. All components are also available in 316 stainless steel. Filtration: For more industrial environments, we offer Quick Coupling Filter Assemblies that filter product as it is transferred into the containers on our IFH Fluid Storage & Dispensing Systems and Mobile Fluid Carts. In order to even further protect the fluid once it is in the containers, we also offer Desiccant breathers to replace the screened elbow vents that are standard on all containers. Special Products Packages: Many products other than lubrication oils can be stored in the IFH Fluid Storage & Dispensing System. Because some products have an adverse effect on Industrial PVC Tubing (Standard System), we offer a Special Products Package. This includes a guarded glass sight gauge with bronze ball check elbows and a flexible, corrugated steel product hose and fittings to go from the product container down to the filling console.
