20 Land Use and Health Resource Team Started in 2001 Purpose Statement: Promote community health through public education and engagement on land use and its relationship to health. Team members include health professionals representing Ingham, Clinton and Eaton, as well as planners, area developers, non profit sector, and educators.

22 Recent Projects Moving Our Community Toward Health: Work with neighborhood communities in the city of Lansing to increase access to healthy produce, and safer walkways. Health Impact Assessment Tools: Health professionals and planners work with developers to assess possible health and environmental issues that can be considered in a site plan at an early stage. Tri-County Coalition: Engage residents of the region to determine priorities for a healthy sustainable community. Green Infrastructure Awareness Campaign
