It is compatible with many of the popular two-way radio and radio trunking networks and provides vehicle location updates without the advanced features found in the GPS-150. The device is housed in a rugged extrusion, protected from harsh environmental elements and comes with a optional internal back-up battery. The TRK-230 display terminal provides the GPS-210 with a text message terminal option. 4 Mobile Data Products Cont. FlashBox FlashBox is a memory device that records vehicle position, speed, bearing, time, movement, events and sensor activities. It is used externally in conjunction with any of the CES Wireless vehicle mountable mobile data device (e.g. TRK-240, GPS-150, GPS-210). FlashBox The FlashBox has the capacity to store thousands of records with a default memory of 1 megabyte and optional memory of 2Mbyte. The data is automatically logged at a pre-programmed time intervals with the minimum interval being 1 second. The memory card can be easily removed from the vehicle and the data quickly downloaded into text files or directly imported into CES Wireless popular software products POWER-trak. Once in the software the entire route of the vehicle can be replayed together with reports providing vehicle stops, starts, bearing changes, two levels of speed exceptions, sensor controls and events. The softwares reporting capabilities provides for detailed analysis of the route taken and can assist in the evaluation of the vehicles efficiencies, productivity and performance. Mobile Peripheral Devices CRD-500 Magnetic Card Reader This is the optional magnetic card reader for the TRK-240. The CRD-500 is used in conjunction with credit card processing or other host software that can automatically process online credit card authorization transactions. The CRD-PNT is the optional companion printer for the CRD-500. Bar Code Reader Since there are many types of Bar Code Readers available on the market, together with many different types of applications, CES Wireless will provide an interface to the reader of your choice, or provide the reader that best meets your application. Bar Code Readers provide quick, accurate and secure data collection. With the addition of the CES Wireless equipment rapid data transfer can be provided to remote host computers. Mobile Printer The CES Wireless PNT-97 provides the driver with a hard copy of the information transmitted from the base dispatch location. While any portable printer with a serial interface can in fact be interfaced to the mobile devices, the PNT-97 offered by CES Wireless is specially designed for the harsh mobile environment. External Keyboard The CES Wireless KBD-97 provides the driver with a capability to enter free form text messages, which are then displayed on the TRK-240 display terminal. Once reviewed, the driver simply presses send to transmit the information to the dispatch center. While CES Wireless does not encourage a large amount of data entry from a mobile environment, the KBD-97 provides the driver with a ruggedized, backlit keyboard in QWERTY style, which is very easy to use. Engine Management Devices The equipment manufactured by CES Wireless has the capability to be interfaced to a wide range of non-ces Wireless equipment. The interfaces can simply be an on/off switch, with the change in switch status transmitted back to the dispatcher center, e.g. pump off, or the interface can be through a serial connection which provides, for example, engine temperature, tank volume, speed or the ability to monitor sensitive cargo.

5 Software Systems POWER-trak - Professional Fleet Management Software POWER-trak Graphical Mapping & Message Dispatch software provides a dispatcher with a high resolution, multiple screen mapping system, together with a set of easy to use tools to provide detailed fleet management information. This is the CES Wireless premium graphical mapping software system that supports many different mapping file formats, multiple dispatcher workstations and multiple wireless protocols. The product includes all of the necessary dispatcher features including pan, zoom, scroll, perimeter fencing, auto zoning, message dispatch, status tracking and comprehensive reporting. Check with CES Wireless for a current list of mapping formats supported. Similar to Crystal Reports but not as complex, ReportWriter enables the user to select whatever data he or she needs to report on: positions, text messages, inputs, outputs, statuses, etc. In short, whatever information comes in from or goes out to the vehicles is available to the user. W Additionally, the user has complete control over the reports design. Every aspect is customizable down to the width of a pixel: column width, line height, header placement, inclusion of company letterhead, etc. You can even specify the paper size for printouts. CES ReportWriter gives you the data you want, the way you want it. MULTI-trak - Multiple Dispatcher Control Software MULTI-trak is the CES Wireless multiple dispatcher radio management and control software system. It resides on a Windows network server and controls all of the messaging and traffic flow between the radio system and multiple workstations. MULTI-trak may also be operated over the internet. 6 Software Systems Cont. fleet-control Standalone Software Integration fleet-control is a standalone software module that provides software developers and system integrators with direct access to the CES Wireless mobile data system for the purposes of controlling the system from their software. Fleet-CONTROL (unlike POWER-trak/trak-CONTROL) does not have any dispatcher functions. Complete details can be found at the CES Wireless web site. Call CES Wireless for information. ] Base Hardware Systems TRK-2000 The TRK-2000 is a multiple channel Pentium server/controller that provides all of the radio management, and operates all of the tracking, message dispatch, and mapping software. It also provides integration to non-ces Wireless systems, and comes complete with online software support. The Controller is shipped with all of the necessary signaling cards installed and all of the software configured for plug and play operation. The radio connections are available on the rear panel through DB-9 connectors. Purchase of the TRK-2000 controller provides the user with a one year software support and upgrade contract direct from the factory. Alternatively, software can be ordered on a CD for installation on your own computer. TRK-2010 Channel Expansion Controller The TRK-2010 is an optional multiple channel expansion controller. It provides additional channel capacity to that provided by the TRK-2000 to which it interfaces with. The TRK-2010 has a 10- channel capability, with all of the radio channel connections terminated on the rear panel using DB-9 connectors. This greatly reduces installation time, cable clutter and minimizes the potential for accidental disconnection. BRK-28 Serial Mux The BRK-28 is a multiple channel serial breakout device. A BRK-28 is required in a system with more than one radio channel. The unit accommodates 8 channels, and may be daisy chained together for large system applications. 7 Base Modem Base Radio Channel Controller The MDC-150 is designed as the base modem for conventional, repeater and radio trunking systems (cellular and satellite services use fixed IP data lines at the base end). The MDC-150 is an addressable device in that multiple MDC-150 s can be used within the same system with each MDC-150 representing a specific RF channel/system. The MDC-150 has two outputs; one analog radio interface and one RS-232 serial output, which connect to a computer serial port. Multiple MDC-150/channels can be accommodated by using the BRK-28 serial multiplexer. This provides support (when used in parallel) for up to 26 channels.
