It is used in processes ranging from cheese production, brewing, and wastewater management, through to drug design and gene therapy. Fees for less than a standard full-time study load in the year or for which do not commence in Semester 1, should be pro-rated. Extended major (EM) These majors provide you with the option of studying 24 units in one field, gaining deeper knowledge in that discipline.
