1 LEVY ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES IN THE VILLAGE OF DOLTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1,2013, AND ENDING APRIL 30,2014 BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Dolton, Cook County, Illinois: ARTICLE I - GENERAL CORPORATE PURPOSES That the amount of taxes for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2013, and ending April 30, 2014, for all corporate purposes, exclusive of the sums or amounts necessary for items enumerated in Article II herein, to be levied upon all property subject to taxation within the Village of Dolton, including railroads as the same is assessed and equalized for state and county purposes for said year, be and the same is hereby fixed at four million, four hundred twenty seven thousand, nine hundred and thirty seven Dollars ($4,427,937.00), and the said sum is hereby accordingly levied upon all property in said Village subject to taxation aforesaid. That the said sum of four million, four hundred twenty seven thousand, nine hundred and thirty-seven Dollars ($4,427,937.00), being taxes to be levied for the fiscal year as specified in Article I of this ordinance shall, when received, be used for the purpose of paying the following items for each of which an appropriation has been made, or will be made in and by an Appropriation Ordinance passed by the Trustees of the Village of Dolton; that the specific items as appear in the Appropriation Ordinance are itemized hereinafter in the column headed "Appropriation", and the specific items and amounts herein and hereby levied are listed in the column headed "From Tax Levy". 4 TOTAL APPROPRIATED GENERAL CORPORATE PURPOSES FOR 17,241, TOTAL LEVY FOR GENERAL PURPOSES: CORPORATE 4,427,93~ ARTICLE II - SPECIAL PURPOSE LEVIES That the amount of taxes, designated herein, to be otherwise specially levied on all of the property subject to taxation within the Village of Dolton, both real and personal, for the fiscal year commencing May 1,2013 and ending April 30, 2014, including railroads as the same is assessed and equalized for state and county purposes, for all purposes indicated herein, is hereby fixed at the sum of one million, four hundred ninety nine thousand, three hundred and sixty seven dollars($1,499,367), which said sum is hereby levied on all taxable property within the Village of Dolton, including railroads, which said sum is made up of the following items: A. 911 SURCHARGE FUND For Outsourcing of the 911 Emergency Telephone System 920, ,367 B. The Village Clerk of the Village of Dolton be, and she is hereby directed to forthwith file a certified copy of this ordinance with the County Clerk of Cook County for the purpose of having extended the taxes levied under the terms hereof and to enable the proper authorities to collect the same when extended. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days from and after its passage and approval as required by law. Publication in pamphlet form is authorized.
