1 Curriculum vitae Helle Weber Ravn Ph.D. (Lic. Pharm.) Key qualifications Senior scientist in organic chemistry (phytochemistry) related to environmental risk assessment of using pesticides. Head of PhytoChemLab, a biomarker laboratory at the Department of Terrestrial Ecology, National Environmental Reseach Institute, University of Aarhus, Denmark. Main research field: Biomarkers in biological organisms exposed to stress. Participatied in a research project on use of natural resources,such as macroalgae, to produce bio-ethanol. Expert in fast and easy methods for analysis of phytochemical compounds and patent applications. International co-ordinator of the IOC-FAO Programme on Harmful Algal Blooms at the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO, at the headquater in Paris, France, United Nations.
