10 Consider The Pros & Cons of Community College Pros Cons Strategies, Solutions & Comments Professors are focused Take advantage of the deeper connections! on teaching available Great courses if Plan well & consult counselors (both CC and Fewer sections offered selected wisely target college) Less expensive! If at all possible, do not change majors Gentler transition Feels like you're still a kid if living at home Get a job, assume more responsibilities at home Open admissions; No SATs required Less prestigious Choose a quality CC, consider CC near your target university!! Maintain a serious attitude and a solid GPA TAG Must be sure to comply w/ requirements TAGs are not available at all universities; Successful transfer rates with lower GPA!
