Airbus Helicopters Training Services delivers first rate training on the full range of Airbus Helicopters. Our company anticipates the needs and expectations of our trainees and develops specialized tools and courses to meet with customer requirements. Our focus is permanently on innovation and cutting edge technology. As well as our existing offer of virtual environment systems and course concepts for HLO and the FNPT II single engine simulator. We are delighted to add new propositions to our extensive training offer. This year we launch our new Priority One Air Rescue courses and our EC175 FNPT III Simulator Training. For the military market we have developed our new Tiger and NH90 courses. Our training centre fully equipped to offer a level of training which integrates the very advanced technologies of the full Airbus Helicopters range. 8 008 Airbus Helicopters Training Services Training Center Airbus Helicopters Training Services (AHTS) is located in the South of France, in the city of Marignane, right beside Marseille Provence International Airport. Our training center is in a distance of 25 km (16 miles) from Marseille & Aix-en-Provence, near many touristic sites. While our customers are following their training, they will be able to enjoy many of the wonderful places of interest the area has to offer such as the roman spa town of Aix-en-Provence, the city of Marseille, with its extraordinary marina and ports, Arles roman arena and theatre, the Camargue, natural reserve, the mountain range of the Luberon and the Alps, the French Riviera (Cannes, Nice) and many other scenic spots. 13 Airbus Helicopters Training Services 013 REGISTRATION GENERAL INFORMATION AHTS set up an ONLINE registration form. You will receive an with a link to access the registration form. Registration for all courses should be completed 30 days before the beginning of the course. To register, you will need to provide the following documents: > PILOT TRAINING > MAINTENANCE & OTHER TRAINING Important notice: The original documents mentioned above and a copy of passport / ID card have to be presented the first day of the training course. COURSE ORGANIZATION > COURSE TIMETABLE > LUNCH A Campus restaurant is especially dedicated to you and your instructor during all the training duration. > INTERPRETERS The course language is in English. However, you may benefit from the services of an interpreter to translate the training course in your native language. Please note that this service will involve additional fees and increase course duration. Important notice: For PART 147 and FCL certified courses, test has to be taken in English without the interpreter. Otherwise, trainees will be awarded an AHTS certificate.

20 020 Airbus Helicopters Training Services Initial Type Rating The Initial Type Rating a first type rating on a new helicopter group, for either Single Engine Turbine or Multi Engine Turbine helicopter. PREREQUISITES > APPLICANTS MUST: COURSE CONTENT > THEORETICAL INSTRUCTION: > SIMULATOR AND / OR FLIGHT INSTRUCTION: On Single Engine: Flight training consists of normal and emergency procedures including hydraulics-off landings, full autorotation and governor failure procedures (when applicable). On Multi Engine: Flight training consists of normal and emergency procedures including systems failure, tail rotor control failure, power recovery autorotation, major governor failure, engine failure during take-off, landing and level flight. > SKILLS TEST: The practical instruction is generally followed by a type rating skills test in compliance with the training syllabus. 24 024 Airbus Helicopters Training Services Type Rating Renewal Course The Type Rating Renewal Course updates knowledge and proficiency to renew the type rating on the aircraft type. The Revalidation or Renewal Test extends the type rating according to PART FCL regulations. 28 028 Airbus Helicopters Training Services Initial Type Rating Instructor (TRI) The Initial Type Rating Instructor (TRI) provides the necessary skills for the holder of a helicopter license to deliver a type rating on the applicable type of aircraft. PRIVILEGES The privileges of the holder of a TRI (H) are to instruct license holders regarding the issue, revalidation or renewal type rating. When applicable, this course includes the extension of the IR (H) privileges, and Crew Coordination as applicable. PREREQUISITES > APPLICANTS MUST: FCL, as well as valid and corresponding applicable type of helicopter, of which no more than 7 hours may be completed in a flight simulator FCL It is strongly recommended to have a strong experience on the variant as Pilot In Command.
