1 Benefits Administration (BA) Steering Committee Report Presented by: Anne LeBlanc, Past Chairperson Cape Breton District Health Authority
2 ~ Purpose ~ The purpose of the BA Steering Committee is to identify and address common issues of Health Association Nova Scotia member facilities participating in the benefits plans. The committee does not necessarily make decisions that affect plan design; rather, they provide their knowledge and input into the overall process.
3 ~ Goal ~ The goal of the BA Steering Committee is to create a proactive, supportive and progressive environment that supports the administration of benefits to Health Association Nova Scotia organizations and the people who work within these organizations.
4 ~ Objectives ~ The objectives of the BA Steering Committee are: 1. To identify and address areas of shared concern 2. To support and facilitate an efficient and timely flow of information between Health Association Nova Scotia, its suppliers, its members and their employees 3. To support and facilitate an efficient Premium process 4. To make recommendation(s) to the appropriate bodies
