Additional funds may be received from city business partners, and private donations. Scholarship awards will be $1,000 each. 6 The City Of Riviera Beach College Scholarship Program Application Deadline: March 31, :00 PM City of Riviera Beach Scholarships are offered to qualified entering freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are enrolled full time by September 30, 2014, at an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school. Requirements: (Please check off to confirm your qualification to apply) Be a resident of Riviera Beach (proof of residency_required) Be enrolled as a Full Time Student (at least 12 credit hours) by September 30, 2014 Have a 2.0 or above cumulative grade point average Complete ALL sections of the application (Incomplete applications will not be considered) Provide proof of Community Service rendered within the last 12 Months Required Attachments: (Please check off as you complete each attachment) Official High School, College, or Trade School Transcript Resume' listing High School and/or College achievements, Organizations, activities, and community service activities you Are involved in A typed one (1) page single spaced essay stating why you Should be awarded a scholarship AND your plans for further Studies at a College, University or Technical / Trade School.
