Airport Pickups All students will be greeted at the airport by LAL staff or their trusted representatives and supervised throughout the journey to the school. Being within easy reach of central London makes it a perfect location to study English and explore British culture. I liked the week in Brighton and it s very fun there, it s nice to go to London because it s a nice city. I was in the Goal! activity and I liked it very much because the staff are very nice people. All of the LAL staff members are nice and I am enjoying it a lot as my English has improved. We know that parents who send their children to British schools want them to be as prepared as possible for their time in the UK. LAL s new Independent School Pre-Sessional Pathway course will help assimilate students to the culture and the way of learning expected in the UK education system. Why? Students who come to the UK often experience a culture shock and our new course aims to reduce this by providing an introduction to Britain and British schooling. Who? The course is designed for students who have been accepted by any independent school and who are not familiar with many aspects of the British way of life or education system. Students from outside the EEA/EU or Switzerland accepted unconditionally for a place at any independent school may not need an additional visa to study on our ISPSP. When? The ISPSP course will run for three weeks before the start of the Mount Kelly and Berkhamsted intakes. This may also coincide with other independent school Autumn start dates. The course is modular and it is not necessary for students to attend every week, though the more weeks a student attends, the more they will feel informed about life in England.
