6 ACADEMIC SERVICES Wheaton College College at large: Faculty Adviser: WASA (Wheaton African Students Association): The Wheaton African Students Association (WASA) is a new students club created in the spring of The goal of this new club is to educate and raise awareness about Africa. Committee: IDS (InterDisciplinary Subcommittee): Faculty Meetings: Attended most faculty meetings. African Week (2007): Member of the Organizing Committee Chapel attendance: attended or watched live most chapels services Foreign Language Department: Foreign Language Competency Committee: 2007-present. Discussed and resolved (along with Drs. Shaffer and Townsend) students who had issue with the Foreign language Competency exam La Table Française: Hired and supervising the French native speaker student who was in charge of La Table Française German and Spanish Positions Search Committee: I was member of the German and Spanish positions search committee. Served on the committee responsible for the assessment of the multicultural component of Foreign language curriculums (for the 10 year review) Department Meetings: I attended and participated in all meetings present.
