Chilean parents contact details See pages 4 and Classes and Activities Pupils will be following the standard timetable at The Grange School, participating in academic classes and extra-curricular activities of their choice, agreed in advance of departure or on arrival in Santiago; there will be opportunities for skiing for those who wish and this is covered by Westminster School s travel insurance policy, details of which are available on the parents section of the school intranet. 6. Luggage DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSPORT AND CHECK EXPIRY DATE NOW! 1. Westminster School uniform for classes at The Grange School; 2. Sports clothes (T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms, shorts, trainers, etc.) for games; 3. Casual clothes (some warm) for evenings and weekends; 4. Underwear, nightwear etc. 5. Usual toiletries. 6. If you intend skiing, suntan lotion and related accoutrements. 7. Small Spanish dictionary, pens, notepad; 8. If you re planning on taking a mobile phone, CHECK FIRST re. roaming facility and costs in Chile with your provider (probably won t work with a PAYG mobile); probably best to get a Chilean SIM card on arrival to avoid excessive costs. 9. Music, books, UCAS preparation, etc. for flights and free time during the school day; 10. A small gift for your host family. 7. Money Given that the exchange works on a reciprocal basis, the equivalent of per week for incidental expenses should more than suffice; UK debit/credit cards are widely accepted throughout Chile, both in the majority of retail outlets, as well as at automatic cash dispensers: 1 GBP 780 CLP (Chilean Pesos). Card providers should be informed of travel plans in advance. 8. Valuables Pupils should not take any unnecessary valuable equipment electronic or otherwise without separare insurance cover, as neither The Grange School nor Westminster School can be held responsible for any loss or damage. 2

Rules & Regulations As well as the usual Westminster School rules that apply to trips and expeditions, pupils must also follow the rules and regulations of The Grange School at all times during their stay (see separate document for details). 10.
