What will I study on a university pathway course? Subject knowledge modules Deepen your understanding of the main ideas and theories within your chosen subject, giving you an excellent advantage when you begin your degree at the University of Birmingham. We can pick you up from the airport, take you to your accommodation in London and ensure you feel safe and comfortable in your new surroundings. YOUR FIRST WEEK During the first week of your course, you will meet your teachers and be given introductions to your study modules. Staff will show you around the College and point out the facilities that you can use, such as libraries, sports halls, computers and clubs. We also organise a tour of London and provide important information such as how to find a local doctor and set up a bank account. SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT Our student services team is based on-site at the College and is dedicated to making sure you are happy during your time in London. From welfare and academic assistance, to travel and accommodation guidance, the team is available to offer friendly advice and answer any questions you might have throughout your course. All parents receive an invitation to a special event that takes place during the first week of your course. Here they can join campus and city tours, and meet key college staff.
