We provide dog daycare and overnight boarding at our Albany, NY camp location. We also offer in-home pet care services for select cities and towns throughout Albany and Schenectady counties. Provide exceptional service to clients and prospective clients. Feed, water, and administer medications to dogs. Conduct camp tours, answer phone calls, and give dog baths. Camp Counselor Required Skills, and Qualifications Must love dogs and demonstrate no fear across all breeds and sizes. Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable with both pets and people. Must have a great attitude while being detailed oriented, trustworthy, punctual, and responsible. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Must have solid computer skills with an aptitude for learning our pet reservation software system. Must be physically able to lift 40+ pounds. Must have reliable transportation and pass background/criminal check. Home Buddies is the name of Camp Bow Wow s premier in-home pet service. Home Buddies is dedicated to keeping a pet family together and happy while their parents are away at work, running errands or jetting off for a welldeserved vacation. Pet sitters must reside in our in-home service area. Pet Sitter Job Responsibilities Travel and arrive in a timely manner to all sitting assignments. Provide complete care for pets in their home environment and peace of mind for pet parents who are away. Includes, when applicable, morning/midday/evening walks, feeding, litter box and/or cage cleaning, mail and newspaper retrieval, plant watering, light rotation, opening/closing blinds, and home security checks. Communicate effectively with pet parents via texts, written notes, and or phone calls. Pet Sitter Required Skills and Qualifications Must have weekend, holiday, and evening availability. Be over the age of 21 and submit to a criminal background check. Have reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and clean DMV record. Have access to a computer, printer, the Internet, and have a smart phone. Love and be comfortable around all types of animals. Have a great attitude, are extremely detailed oriented, trustworthy, and responsible. Must be willing to acquire Pet CPR/First Aid certification.
