2 BMO Financial Group Fellowship for Rural and Northern Studies This fellowship was created to attract exceptional researchers to the University of Regina who will focus their research efforts on rural and northern issues. The Fellowship is to promote excellence in social and health research in rural and northern studies by graduate students. 4 Canadian Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation Student Research Award April 15 The purpose of this Student Award is to recognize the research of graduate students in the area of cardiac rehabilitation and to reflect CACR's support of their educational endeavours in this field. Biology, Kinesiology and Health Studies, Psychology Maximum of three (3) $3000 awards. At least one will be to a Doctoral student and one to a Master's student. Open to all students working in the area of cardiac rehabilitation and members of CACR. To apply students must submit an abstract for presentation at the CACR Annual Symposium, a letter outlining the student's current research in the area and future directions in this field. Unrestricted, Gerontology, Kinesiology and Health Studies, Psychology, Social Work $25,000 (2) Must meet the following criteria: be entering or continuing student in a Master's or Doctoral program at the University of Regina be pursuing gerontological research with an emphasis on health must be enrolled full-time during the tenure of the fellowship minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80% maximum employment hours of 12 per week outside of the University of Regina during the tenure of the fellowship Complete the SGI Graduate Fellowship in Aging & Health application form available from the FGSR website here. Previous recipients of this fellowship are eligible to re-apply in subsequent years. A report of research conducted to date must accompany the new application. This report must include a summary of the specific work completed to date and should include outcomes of the previous funding.
