2 What will drive tomorrow s housing market? 2015 Calgary Housing Outlook Conference Following a record year in new home construction and MLS sales, Calgary s housing market struggled to find its footing with the sudden decline in oil prices. Reduced confidence in the economy, low oil prices, and a slowdown in employment growth and migration has tempered housing demand. Will these headwinds continue to weigh down housing activity in 2016 or will we see the housing market hold firm and press forward? Our annual Housing Outlook Conference helps housing market participants understand trends in the market place, identify new opportunities, and make sound business decisions. Join us on November 26 as we identify key factors that will define Alberta s housing markets in 2016 and beyond. Our team of economists and market analysts share their knowledge and expertise as they examine the latest economic and housing market conditions. Discover valuable insights and forecasts for Canada, Alberta, Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat. The housing industry trusts Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to deliver reliable, impartial, and up-to-date housing market information. cmhc.ca/housingmarketinformation Can t attend the Calgary Conference?
