He has managed both an engineering design office and construction office and has assisted in development of policies and procedures in safety, quality, cost and human resources. He is also knowledgeable in development of and execution of subcontract services necessary to execute transmission line and substation engineering and construction projects. Recently, Morris transferred from Kiewit Power Engineers to Kiewit Power Constructors and has been named the Director of the Rock Island Clean Line Project for Kiewit. Georgia Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction management for 450 cellular communications sites in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi,, and Georgia. Duties included managing three construction offices in Tennessee, Alabama, and ; along with managing site acquisition, survey, and soil investigation activities. OH Ground Wire Changeout and Fiber 400 Project Power Corporation Responsible for engineering, procurement and construction specifications for changeout of 200 miles of overhead ground wire and engineering, analysis, and engineering support during construction of 400 miles of 144-fiber OPGW on existing transmission facilities. Project schedule for the 200 miles required completion of engineering and all construction in less than three months. 4 Page 4 of 5 Rocky Mountain-Pinson 500kV Line Oglethorpe Power Corporation Georgia 1995 Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction specification for 18 miles of 500 kv lattice steel transmission line. Project included foundation design, tower modeling, preparation of construction specifications, line layout, fiber optic ground wire design, and engineering support during construction. Black & Veatch Office Manager In addition to duties as, served as Office Manager for Black & Veatch s design engineering office located in Orlando. Duties included project staffing assignments and management of personnel, overhead budgets, and support facilities. DDC Celebration City Disney Development Company 1994 Served as project manager on relocation of two 230 kv and one 69 kv transmission line totaling 10 miles. Duties included conceptual and detail design, soil investigation, survey, right-of-way assistance, permitting, environmental permitting, preparation of plan profiles, material specifications, construction contracting, and engineering support during construction. Power Corporation / Project Engineer Served as project manager and project engineer on over 20 transmission line projects totaling more than 150 miles. Voltages ranged from 69 kv through 500 kv. Duties included conceptual and detail design, soil investigation, survey, right-of-way assistance, environmental permitting, permitting, preparation of plan profiles, material specifications, construction contracting, and engineering support during construction. City of St. Cloud New 230/69 kv substation, seven miles of 230 kv transmission line, 15 miles of 69 kv transmission line, and addition of a 69 kv substation to an existing 25 kv substation. Duties included inspection of civil work, foundations, steel erection, pole erection, equipment installation, checkout, and commissioning. 5 Page 5 of 5 Orlando Utilities Commission Responsible for inspection on construction of six miles of double circuit 230 kv lattice steel transmission line and installation of a second circuit on an additional seven miles of transmission line. Duties included inspection, field modifications, approval of construction payments, scheduling, and construction reporting on a pile contractor and line erection contractor. Project also included outage scheduling and modifications to existing 230 kv transmission line facilities. Indian River Substation Owner: Orlando Utilities Commission Responsible for inspection of construction on a new control house and 230 kv circuit breakers in an existing 115/230 kv substation. Duties included inspection, approval of construction payments, scheduling, construction reporting, and project closeout. Lake Tarpon-Kathleen 500kV Transmission Line Owner: Power Corporation Engineer Responsible for design and analysis of lattice and tubular steel transmission structure for a 44-mile 500kV transmission line.
