Age range: High school students, 14 through 19 The Summer Youth Counselors Program is a 10-week Summer Camp in which participants work as youth counselors. Program includes leadership development, anger management, first aid certification, & money management. Possible scholarship assistance. Number to be served: 12 The One Block Program is a five week neighborhood beautification and employment project that includes landscaping, painting, & general clean-up. Participants serve as crew members working in teams or as conservation interns working directly on projects including green job work such as stemming hillside erosion, planting native trees, maintaining walking trails, tending urban farms, increasing biofuels production, recycling building materials, preventing pollution, saving energy and decreasing stormwater runoff.
