Memtec Single Ply PVC Roofing and Waterproofing Systems are suitable for all flat roof situations and can be either mechanically fixed, fully bonded or loose laid and ballasted. Typical specifications are: Warm roof, cold roof, roof terrace and green roof (i.e roof garden). Can be applied to most roof deck substrates such as timber, metal, concrete and roof screeds. Can be applied to gutter substrates such as metal, timber and concrete. Totally suitable for existing roof refurbishment projects whereby an insulated or non insulated overlay system/specification can be applied over the existing roof coverings (in most cases) without the need to strip them. Can be applied to bituminous felt, asphalt (with stone chippings removed) and mineral finish felt. Can replicate the appearance of Traditional Metal Roofing Systems such as Lead Roof Coverings by adding timber mop roll battens and Memtec cover flashings (i.e see page 3 of this brochure) and also Zinc Metal Standing Seam Roof Coverings by adding Memtec decarib PVC Profile type roof decoration. Memtec Products are not susceptible to theft as they have no re-sale value unlike the actual Lead and Metal Products which do have a re-sale value. Generally by employing the Memtec Product against the Traditonal Lead and Metal Products a cost saving of approximately fifty percent can be achieved. Can be applied to sloping mansard and dormer roof areas and if decorated, as above mentioned, will replicate metal standing seam or lead roll type roof coverings which could be of particular interest for church, religious, traditional and listed type buildings.
