2 Custom engineered solutions Cost-Effective, Time-Saving Solutions to Manufacturing Process, Equipment Protection, and Plant Expansion Challenges When your hazardous chemical, flammable and combustible materials require more than just simple containment, Safety Storage TM custom engineered solutions combine OSHA, EPA and fire code requirements with manufacturing, deployment and supply chain efficiencies. Safety Storage TM is committed to developing a cost effective solution to the most challenging storage issues. Using a custom-engineered prefabricated structure, a large consumer products manufacturer removed and isolated their liquid filling operations, protecting their facility from potential fire and explosion. Compliance, safety, productivity, cost-efficiencies, and worker comfort are designed into a custom engineered prefabricated hazardous material storage building. A local Safety Storage TM hazmat professional will discuss and evaluate all of your application parameters like location, materials to be stored, security and electronic monitoring controls and environmental requirements such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to develop your custom solution. Custom-Engineered Structures Designed for Workplace Solutions Free-standing, hazardous material storage or workroom units for storage, handling, dispensing and manufacturing processes. Safe containment and isolation of toxic, caustic, flammable, and corrosive materials. Secure remote-site enclosures protect electrical and mechanical devices from theft, vandalism, fire and the weather. Compartmentalized temperature and humidity-controlled storage. Multiple chamber construction for hazardous material laboratory testing, household hazardous waste, and/or contained manufacturing facilities. Pre-fabricated custom engineered add-on structures to accommodate plant expansion with a fast, low-cost alternative that is in compliance with all code regulations. Complete solutions must consider customer access and material handling. This industrial client implemented fire-rated roll-up doors to allow for quick and easy forklift access. A leading testing laboratory utilized the prefabricated structures as a cost-effective and timely means of expanding their components testing facilities. Single structure safely stores quantities of compressed gas cylinders & containers of corrosive, flammable, & combustible liquids in one compartmentalized building. 9 cti drum compactors and crusher Safe Compaction and Disposal of Hazardous Materials Disposing of hazardous waste is expensive, time consuming and difficult. Minimizing the waste volume reduces the amount of landfill space needed, helps the environment and saves money. Safety Storage s TM CTI line of In-Drum Compaction Systems offer a significant cost savings opportunity because it reduces the volume of wastes. The In-Drum Compacting economically retrieves and recycles valuable fluids while compacting the residual solids for disposal. Standard features within the Safety Storage TM CTI line include, but are not limited to: Zero tolerance compaction chamber Precision cylinder and platen system Two-stage high efficiency hydraulic system Safety interlocks Enclosed electrical system Easy to operate controls A wide range of optional features allows the end-user to customize the compactor to specific applications. Features such as HEPA filtration, VOC/Carbon filtration, explosion-proof components for explosive atmospheres, inert gas purge for fire prevention, and liquid removal systems enable a highly efficient, safe, smart and reliable method of reducing waste volume and disposal costs. For more information and pictures visit our website * 8567 shown (w x d x h) NEMA Rating Compaction Force x 37 x , x 37 x , x 36 x , x 36 x , x 36 x , x 36 x ,000 Optional Features within the Safety Storage TM CTI line include, but are not limited to: NEMA 7 Explosion Proof Components Equipped with components to meet the codes governing equipment used in hazardous atmospheres (Class I Division I Group D). NEMA 4 or NEMA 7 Liquid Removal System These unique options allow safe and efficient removal of nonexplosive or explosive liquids during compaction, for separate disposal or recycling. A powerful, chemical resistant pump can efficiently remove over 14 gallons of liquid waste per minute. Great for filters, rags soaked with solvent, containers with liquid residue, etc. Fire Extinguishing Fittings Equipped with fittings to allow for hook-up to the customer supplied dry chemical fire extinguishing system. An electric heat detection circuit activates the user s fire system. Inert Gas Purge for Fire Prevention Equipped with fittings and valves allowing hook-up to the customer s inert gas supply. Drum Crushing Package Includes custom hydraulics and a crushing insert that will crush steel drums to approximately 4 inches. Switching from in-drum compacting to drum crushing is easy and safe, and takes only seconds. HEPA Filtration System This nuclear grade filtration option removes particles to 0.3 microns with 99.97% efficiency. VOC/Carbon Filtration System If Volatile Organic Compounds are present in your waste, this option absorbs them. This system operates when the compactor is in use and does not allow compaction if the system is blocked. Stainless Steel Platen and Stainless Steel Chamber The stainless steel components (sold separately) allow for easy cleanup and decontamination. Recommended for corrosive or radioactive applications. info@safetystorage.com Toll Free:
