1 AXA PRESS RELEASE SINGAPORE, 6 AUGUST 2015 AXA LIFE INSURANCE SINGAPORE PUSHES INSURANCE PROTECTION FOR YOUNG FAMILIES WITH A NEW 3-IN-1 PRE-NATAL INSURANCE PLAN First-of-its-kind Family Advantage plan provides young families with prenatal insurance coverage for the mother, an insurance plan for either the father or the mother and insurance coverage for the child when the child is born Call-out for soon-to-be and existing parents to participate in AXA Daddy Rescue contest and win a full home cleaning service and Babycation AXA Life Insurance Singapore today launched a new campaign, entitled AXA Young Families, to reach out to couples at the early stage of family building to provide insurance coverage, from pregnancy to birth and raising kids. While it is common for Singaporean parents starting a family to devote their time and money on their children, AXA would like to shine a spotlight on (not just the kids) the often neglected parents themselves. Protection for the Whole Family As part of the launch, AXA unveiled a first-of-its-kind pre-natal plan package, AXA Family Advantage, to allow couples, when expecting a child, the flexibility of selecting from 8 different types of protection, savings and investment plans for themselves to prepare for the responsible role of being parents. The plan simultaneously offers pre-natal coverage for an expectant mother, and subsequently when the child is born, the parents can

2 choose to insure their child in a straightforward process with no health questions asked. At AXA, we have been providing pre-natal insurance coverage together with an investment-linked plan for a few years now with much success. We recognise that our customers increasingly demand flexibility and the insurance protection they require will vary depending on needs. With the new AXA Family Advantage bundle plan, on top of the pre-natal insurance coverage, families can now select and choose from 8 different types of insurance protection suitable for them, making it more relevant for their needs. We believe this flexibility will be well-received by young parents-tobe. Together with the launch of AXA Young Families campaign, AXA also redesigned and enhanced their existing pre-natal insurance package AXA Mum s Advantage and introduced a new Personal Accident plan, AXA Band Aid. Just as how you always keep band aids at hand, AXA Band Aid is a basic necessity as a personal accident plan for families. A replacement for its previous personal accident plan, AXA Band Aid is a simple personal accident protection plan which provides flexibility for customers to only pay for what they need and remove additional options that they do not need. 2

3 AXA Band Aid was launched on 23 July 2015, while AXA Mum s Advantage and AXA Family Advantage was launched on 31 July Light-hearted Marketing from the Dad s Perspective To promote protection for Young Families, AXA Life Insurance Singapore will roll out an integrated marketing campaign focusing on awareness and activation. To maximise awareness, AXA Life Insurance Singapore will be launching a television commercial looking through the eyes of a soon-to-be dad, accompanying him on the nine month pregnancy journey with his wife. It trails his often bewildered and confused state dealing with his expectant wife and arrival of his baby. Anchored by the performance of the hit song, 500 Miles by The Proclaimers, the television commercial showcases a catchy, tongue-in-cheek tune performed by a choir of daddies. The TVC can be viewed at For on-ground activation, AXA will continue to ride on the tunes of daddies and salute the unsung heroes of daddies in Singapore. A 5-week long radio contest on Class 95 FM called AXA Daddy Rescue will be rolled out. 3 lucky winners will enjoy a home cleaning session courtesy of AXA, where a team of daddies will wipe, mop, clean and even perform a special Acapella singing, in the comfort of their home. Starting from 6 August 2015, mummy and daddy participants are to submit the most creative caption to tell us why 3

4 they deserve to be rescued by the AXA Daddy Rescue team. SMS entries are to be sent to with AXA <space> Name <space> NRIC <space> Why you deserve it. The 3 winners will be announced weekly on Fridays (21 August, 28 August and 4 September) and home visits by the AXA Daddy Rescue team will be on the following Saturdays (29 August, 5 September and 12 September). All participants of AXA Daddy Rescue will also automatically qualify for the grand prize of a weekend 2 Day 1 Night Babycation at Capella, Sentosa, worth S$2,000.
