5 HULL PrimeShip-IPCA Integrated System for Ship Performance Capability PrimeShip-IPCA is a Windows OS-based software package that calculates water displacement, trim, stability, longitudinal strength and other performance factors of a vessel during the design stage. The software allows calculations at design stage to be carried out in line with class rules, helping reduce design lead times. The software contains design software Design-IPCA and calculation software for onboard loading computer systems Onboard-IPCA Calculation Engine, offering full support coverage during design and operation. Contact Hull Department PrimeShip-NAPA Manager NK-Customized Program for NAPA PrimeShip-NAPA Manager (Statutory Compliance Manager for NAPA system users) is a program offered free of charge that uses 3D vessel models created during the design stage using NAPA software to calculate stability, longitudinal strength and other factors based on class rules. The program can be used in conjunction with NAPA software to create drawings for plan approval to help reduce design lead times. Using this software, designers can easily calculate alignment in line with ClassNK rules and guidance, as well as determine the optimal position for shaft bearings. 9 PrimeShip-CHEMISYS Integrated Database System for Chemical Products OPERATION PrimeShip-CHEMISYS is a fee-based software package offering comprehensive support for designers, owners, and managers of chemical tankers during design, construction, and operation. PrimeShip-CHEMISYS (Search & Data) allows users to select and view what type of cargoes can be carried by each vessel. PrimeShip-CHEMISYS (Onboard) offers support for cargo loading plans and loading operations. 11 PrimeShip-HULLCare Hull Maintenance Information Service PrimeShip-HULLCare is a service that compiles and categorizes survey data collected from across ClassNK s global service network to provide hull maintenance information for each vessel registered for the Enhanced Survey Program scheme. Users can verify the history of the hull condition for each of its vessels, and create an appropriate maintenance management plan. PrimeShip-HULLCare is an internet based service, which allows users access 24/7 from anywhere in the world. In addition, an optional fee-based service for 3D models is also available. The system is provided free of charge to shipbuilders and suppliers. PrimeShip-GREEN/SRM facilitates information exchange between shipbuilders, shipping companies and suppliers at the development and maintenance of Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM: list indicating quantity & location of hazardous materials on board) generating IHM automatically with minimum additional input, drastically reducing the burden on the industry. 15 NK-PASS Electric Plan Approval System NK-PASS is a free service that allows shipyards, equipment manufacturers and designers to replace printed plans and drawings with electronic versions that can be submitted for class approval and returned electronically. Users can confirm the status of submitted drawings and approval results in real time via the internet, greatly reducing the time and costs associated with approval (such binding, postage, etc.), allowing users to manage their plans and drawings more efficiently. The optional NK-PASS EDI (Exchange Data Interface) service is a standard interface linked to customer s own system that allows users to exchange electronic drawings between NK-PASS and the customer s system.
