1 Livestock Style Guide Preface: This style guide was adjusted from the Livestock Publications Council ( stylebook and updated with terminology commonly used here at RHD in our livestock advertising projects. Due to our high level of involvement in the Brahman breed many of our entries relate to Brahman cattle. Original material was created from various sources representing the following: Drovers Journal (DJ), Kansas Livestock Association (KLA), The Quarter Horse Journal & The Quarter Racing Journal (QH), American Sheep Industry Association (ASI), Paint Horse Journal (PHJ), National Hog Farmer (NHF), the World (W), Hereford World (HW), National Swine Registry (NSR), Pork Leader (PL), Texas A & M University (TAMU), and the Wyoming Business Council (WBC). Please contact the LPC office for clarifications or to add your style guide information.
