2 Guild of Letting & Management application for corporate membership tes for Applicants The Membership Department aim to process applications within approximately 15 working days, if all the correct information is supplied. Failure to provide the required information will result in your application being delayed and possibly being returned to you. It is your responsibility to ensure the application is fully completed, signed and dated. Membership is open to letting and management agencies. Membership is subject to assessment through a formal application supported by satisfactory references. If this is not the case you are not eligible for membership. Please note that if you have any queries, please contact our Membership Secretary direct on , before returning your application form. Application Fee All applications are subject to a non-refundable plus VAT administration fee. This fee is payable whether the application is successful or not. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet membership criteria prior to applying. Membership fee plus VAT per year Additional Office Membership Fee plus VAT per year All Member offices require: Hold Professional Indemnity Insurance Hold Public Liability Insurance Be a member of Mydeposits.co.uk, Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), or Deposit Protection Service (DPS) Undertake 14 hours Continuous Professional Development (CPD) each year Be a member of The Property Ombudsman Service Abide by Code of Practice of The Property Ombudsman Scheme Limited to The Property Ombudsman Professional Indemnity Insurance & Public Liability Insurance It is a mandatory requirement of membership that Member Offices hold appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance & Public Liability Insurance. This can be arranged through any insurance broker. Please enclose a copy of your Professional Indemnity Insurance & Public Liability Insurance certificates with your application form. Limit of indemnity cover should be 150, for those companies with an annual fee income of 150, or less and 500, if the turnover exceeds this. Page 1
